"A Boy's Life" ~ SPS Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing inspiration using products from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I created a card using Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" 6x6 paper pad. This stack is filled with bright and colorful papers that I know I will use again and again.

I am so pleased with the way this card came out. It could be used as a birthday, congratulations, or encouragement card. Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" is filled with wonderful designs and I know I will get a lot of use out of this pad.

I used my Cricut Expression and my Gypsy to cut out my shapes. I then inked all my edges with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I added some wooden buttons from my stash and inked them, also. I added The Twinery Twine in Pea Pod and Lemondrop to my buttons.

These items can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice:
The Twinery Baker's Twine in Pea Pod and Lemondrop

Other items used:
Gypsy Wanderings ~ scalloped circle
Plantin Schoolbook ~ circle
Cricut Lite Chore Chart ~ stars
Ranger Distress Ink "Tea Dye"
buttons from my stash

If you haven't played along in the April challenge on the Pumpkin Spice blog there is still time. You can check out all the detials HERE.

The prize is the May Card Kit filled with all kinds of goodies!

Scrappy Moms Stamps April Release!!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's and exciting day! Today Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing not one but TWO new sets of stamps! You are going to love them!

Take a look!

The sentiments on both these sets are just so fun!

I used the new Little Critters set for my card today.

To make the sentiment fit I just taped off one word, then inked my stamp, took off the tape, and stamped the setiment. I did it again with the other word.

The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye "Party Time" stack. The stamped background is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-107 Cloudy Day, the eye on my fish is from PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment and the party hat is from PKSC-04 Stamp of the Month.  I cut the little fish using my Cricut Expression and Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and the waves are from Plantin Schoolbook. I used The Twinery baker's twine in Pink Sorbet to create a pom-pom for the party hat and for the bow. The Twinery baker's twine can also be purchased from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

All of the designers will be featuring projects using these new stamps over the next few days so be sure to visit their blogs to have a look. We also have a guest designer with us this month, Marlene from Scrappin' Cookie. I love her designs and I think you will, too!

Now head over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to get these fabulous stamps! They are in stock and ready to ship!

I love you Dairy much! ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It is tiime for another Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.  Our challenge is "Anything on a Stick!"

I created a shped card for your inspiration today.

I used the milk bottle from Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge to create this shaped card. All I did was weld 2 of the shadows together at the top. I had to trim off the straw. I then cut the layers for on top. I wanted it to look like glass so I cut the top layer out of vellum. I really like the way it looks.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Spring Fair" set. Did you see that cute paper straw? Yep! Scrappy Moms Stamps is now carrying these colorful straws in the Scrappy Moms Store along with The Twinery Baker's Twine that I have tied around the top of my milk bottle.

The cute little face is from the brand new PK-112 Cherub Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps.

You do not have to have these paper straws to participate in the challenge any stick will do. I hope you will join us in the challenge.

Just a heads up! Scrappy Moms Stamps will be releasing 2 brand new sets of stamps at the end of the week. Let me tell you now. They are FABULOUS!!

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps for more imspiration from my fellow designers.

Until next time...

A Little More of This and That ~ SPS Design Inspiration

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is my day to provide inspiration on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

For my project I went for more of Echo Park's This & That "Charming" 6x6 pad. My son is currently in Air Force Basic Traing and I wanted to make a card for him. This paper was just perfect!

For my focal point I used Echo Park's This & That "Charming" Chipboard. I really liked the old-fashioned airplane. The banner was hand cut. I added twine from the March "Boy Crazy" card kit. I inked all my edges with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. To finish off my card I added brads from My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose "Hattie" collection.

If you have never visited the Shop Pumpkin Spice store, head on over and check out all the goodies! All items in the store are at least 30% off. You gotta love that!

Thank you for joining me today and as always...

Little Lambs

This is my second post for today. Scroll down to see my Peachy Keen Challenge post.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to  Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have the pleasure of guest designer for Liz, at Liz's Paper Loft. She is currently recovering from surgery and has enlisted several crafty ladies to fill in while she recovers. I enjoy her blog so much and am inspired by her creations on a regular basis.

With Easter a few days away, I wanted to make some cute little treat containers for my girls. I found the cutest SVG file from My Scrap Chick and just had to use it.

The designer paper is some that I have had for quite some time. I inked all the edges with Ranger Distress ink in Tea Dye. I used fun foam to pop all my layers.

Here is a rear view. These layers were also popped with fun foam.

Make sure to head over to Liz's Paper Loft and leave a comment. She wants you to know that she is reading each and everyone. When Liz returns she will be making 2 announcements. One for a winner of the blog candy she will be giving away and one of something very special. I have no idea what it is but cannot wait to find out!

Thank you all for stopping today. Come back tomorrow for the April Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop!

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's Friday so that means it's time for another challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.

The challenge for this week is a sketch challenge.

I used the brand new April Stamp of the Month. I love this set! The background was stamped with Pk-104 What Time is It?? background stamp. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I also heat embossed the clock face with silver embossing powder and then added Ranger glossy Accents to it for a more dimensional effect.

The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found ~ Union Square. All my edges were inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye.  My sentiment also comes from the April Stamp of the Month set was stamped on a tag from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge.

I added some black Crinkle Ribbon that I purchased from My Craft Spot and topped it off with a Prima Rose.

You Put The Happy...

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the day! Peachy Keen Stamps is releasing the new April Stamp of the Month, plus all the add ons, and the Peachy Picks. Haven't you just LOVED all the sneak peeks?!

I absolutely love the new background stamp, Cloudy Day! I can see using this stamp over and over!

I stamped the background with sky blue pigment ink. Pigment ink is the best ink to use with background stamps as it clings to stamp better.

I created this card in my Gypsy using a Child's Year for the card base, ZooBalloo for the grass, and Smiley Cards for the flowers.

The faces come from my favorite PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment and the sentiment is from the newly released PK-105 Happy Hour.

Hurry over the Peachy Keen Stamps to purchase the newest sets!

Until next time,
Happy Crafting!

Smell the Jelly Beans! ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's time for another Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge! With Easter less than a week away it is only fitting for the challenge to be centered around this holiday. Our theme is anything Easter.

When I saw this SVG I knew I wanted to use it for a card.

I love it! The svg is called Trio of Bunnies from My Scrap Chick.

I used designer paper from my March Peachy Picks Collection. For the bunny's tail, I just glued an ordinary cotton ball to it.

Here you can see how I popped up the feet with fun foam. I just started using it in lieu of popdots.

My jelly beans are just oval from my SCAL shape library. Glossy Accents were added to give them some shine.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Spring Fling" set. This set is perfect for all your spring holidays. Have you noticed the new items in the Scrappy Moms store? If not, be sure to check it out!

Now head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps and link up you Easter project. We would love to see them and who knows! You may be the winner of a brand new set of stamps!

Thanks for stopping!
