A Naughty Little Christmas Card

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Today I am sharing the card I made for my husband. I thought it would be cute to make it a little naughty!

I really enjoyed making this card.

I cut the lingerie from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. I hot glued some red tulle to the bodice before I add the top layer. My cardstock was textured and I thought it worked perfectly.

I added a bow of Maraschino Bakers Twine.

I hand cut the tag and stamped it with Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer!"

I used a Martha Stewart punch to create my mistletoe and add more baker's twine and a little red bling.

My paper is from Carta Bella.

I am sure my husband is going to love this when I give it to him!

I am taking the rest of the week off from blogging to spend time with my wonderful family. I will be back January 1st with the next Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Have a safe and Happy Christmas, my friends!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

More Christmas Tags

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

You can find the PKS Fond Farewell Blog Hop HERE. This is the last day to comment for you chance to win some PKS!

Well, we are almost there! 2 more days until Christmas! Are you ready?

Today I am sharing 2 more tags.

I used Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge to cut the base of these tags.

For the Santa Tag, I stamped some snowflakes from PK-148 Snow Gifts in white pigment ink. Santa was cut from the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge. I used PK-441 Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8" stamps for his face. I ran his beard through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I, also, add Martha Stewart coarse glitter to his hat. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer!"

For the snowflake tag, I cut a darker blue piece of cardstock and ran it through my Cuttlebug with D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I used my white pigment ink to help bring out the swirls more. I cut the snowflake from Christmas Solutions Cricut cartridge. I covered it with Diamond Stickles and add a little bling.

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season.

I will be back tomorrow to share one last Christmas card.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Here is a treat the I make every year. My kids love it. Since my son is unable to come home for Christmas because of his military commitment I wanted to send him some.

I tied a simple bow to my bag of Chex mix and added a tag that I stamped with Scrappy Moms Stamps "Top That" set.

These are in stock and ready to ship!

You can get them at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

SPS Inspiration ~ Tags

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you are looking for the PKS Farewell Blog Hop click HERE

I am back with more inspiration from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Today I bring several Christmas tags I created with items from the "Winterland Fun" Kit.

The only thing that is not part of the kit is my solid green paper.

My daughter needed some tags for some Christmas gifts so I set to make the tags as she requested. The first tag had to be pretty. So this is what I came up with.

I cut this tag from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. The poinsettia comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I cut the petal layer 3 times, layered it, then added one of the flowers that comes in the kit. To that, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles, card candy dot, and topped it with Glossy accents. I attached this beautiful ribbon. All of the embellishments are in the kit plus so much more!

For this tag, I cut the base from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and the gift from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. Again, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles and card candy. The sentiment is from MPS Birthday Doodles stamp set (retired).  As you can see, I was mimicking the wrapping paper and I think I did a good job!

This last tag is one that matches the wrapping paper. I cut the 2 circles and the red snowflake from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. This one was really simple. All I really needed to do was pop it up and add some card candy and it was finished.

You can still purchase the "Winterland Fun" kit. Just head on over the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store and snatch it up before it is gone!

This is my last 2012 post for Shop Pumpkin Spice. I will be back for another year with Denine and all the 2013 design team girls in January. Look for some great new stuff happening here on the blog.

Have a Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Until next time...

A Elegant Christmas Card

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

You can find the PKS Fond Farewell Blog Hop ~ HERE

This month the Shop Pumpkin Spice 2012 designers are being featured on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

Today and tomorrow I will be sharing projects that I have made with the December Kit "Winterland Fun."

For my first project, I created this elegant Christmas card that I made for my husband's parents.

The papers and embellishments in this kit make it possible to make beautiful cards.

The tree was created with my Cuttlebug using the Lace Tree folder. I cut the frame from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and ran that through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder.

I had some adheasive pearls in my stash so I used those to embellish the tree and I added some bling from My Mind's Eye "Fine and Dandy Girl."

There are still a few  "Winterland Fun" kits available!

Just look at all you get in this kit!

There is tons to play with here.

Infact here's another card I made earlier this month with this kit.

Isn't this card fun!

I hope you enjoyed my project today.

I will see you tomorrow with more from this kit.

Until next Time...
Happy Crafting!

Christmas Wrappings

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I have been busy getting gifts together for my son who is in the military. He is not able to be home for Christmas this year so I need to get his box in the mail today!!

I, of course, had to make a few things for him a little more special and I get to play along with a few challenges in the process!

The first is a gift card holder.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More to make the pocket tag. I decorated it with MME Merry papers.

I cut the reindeer tag from Winter Woodland. I cut the top layer twice so that I could have my reindeer in white but the frame in patterned paper. I glittered the reindeer with Crystal Stickles. I added a felt snowflake that got some glitter and topped it with card candy. I added MME bakes twine to finish it off.

My next project is super simple.

I covered some Hershey nuggets with some seasonal paper that I had purchased at Hobby Lobby. I put them in some Pretzel bags that can be purchased in the Wilton section at Walmart.

I added a tag that I made using Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer!" I punched it with a circle punch and layered it on a scallop that I had punched.

I tied everything off with ribbon from my stash.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

My Sheri Crafts ~ #100 It's A Wrap
The Kraft Journal ~ Anything Goes
My Craft Spot ~ #76 Wrap It Up!
Ribbon Carousel ~ Holiday Spirit
DL ART ~ Thankful Thursday Red and Green

It's a busy week at my house so I will be back Friday with a little special something.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

I Can BEARLY Wait....

Happy Saturday! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I wanted to get in on a few challenges so I made this cute Christmas card.

I wanted this card to be fun so I am using non-traditional colors. All my paper is from Recollections Jolly Holiday. Love the fun designs in the pad!

My bear was cut from Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Lite cartridge at 3 inches. For his face I used PK-146 Piles of 1" Smiles and added the brown to his eys with a Copic marker after coloring the whites with my white gel pen. to his eyes and nose I added Ranger Glossy accents to give him some shine.

I added Star Dust Stickles to his pom poms on his hat and shoes to make him sparkle an brads for his buttons.

My sentiment come from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Winter Wishes." This is an older set but I still love all the Christmas sentiments on this set!

After stamping my sentiment, I ran my scalloped border through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots Embossing folder.

I added The Twinery's Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine. The cute little candy ornament was purchased at Hobby Lobby. It came in a pack with several colors and they all have glitter.

For more fun, I put my little bear on an Action Wobble!

I want to add this to the following challenges:

Pile It On ~ Embellishments
Sentimental Sundays ~ Non-Traditional Xmas Colors
Exploring Cricut ~ Christmas Card
My Craft Spot ~ Merry Christmas
Little Scrap Pieces ~ It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas
The Cuttlebug Spot ~ Celebrate A Season
Little Tangles ~ Happy Holidays
Ribbon Carousel ~ Holiday Spirit

With All My Heart ~ PK Ning Challenge #2

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a project that I made for inspiration for one of the new release challenges on the Peachy Keen Connection.

This card is for Challenge #2 ~ Make a card with word art and a snowman as the focal point.

I had a lot of fun putting this card together. I created the base of my card using my Gypsy to weld  a shape from Elegant Edges.  ( I told you yesterday that I was loving this shape! )

I stamped a sentiment from PKSC-01 January 2012 to create the word art background. I colored in all of the hearts with a Copic marker.

My snowman was stamped from the newly released PK-153 Snow Me A Man. I colored him with my Copic markers. I added some Tattered Angels Glam paint in Chandelier to his heart and once dried I added some Ranger Glossy Accents.

I used a Martha Stewart punch for my snowflake, added a heart button from my stash, and baker's twine from My Mind's Eye.

If you would like to participate in the challenges make sure to head on over to the Peachy Keen Connection to get all the info on the challenges!

I am adding this card to the following challenges:

Fantabulous Cricut ~ Snow/Snowflakes
The Perfect Sentiment ~ Let It Snow

This card made the Top 5
Fantabulous Cricut

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Happy New Year! ~ PKS Ning Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

To see the winner of the SPS Blog Hop scroll down or click HERE.

Today I am sharing a project that I made for inspiration for one of the new release challenges on the Peachy Keen Connection.

This is for Challenge #1 ~ Include a drink in your project.

I decided to make a "wine tag."

For my tag, I used the new PKSC-12 December 2012 for my image and sentiment.

I colored my image with Copic markers. I wanted to give it a little sparkle so I painted the bottle part with Tatter Angels Glimmer Paint in Chandelier. Once dried I covered that "glass part" with Ranger Glossy accents.

It's a little hard to see the sparkle but it is there! I cut my tag from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge.. It's my favorite shape at the moment so you will probably see it in another project in the near future.

All of my paper and embellishments came from the December Peachy Picks Kit. It looks like this sold out already. Sorry!

If you would like to participate in the challenges make sure to head on over to the Peachy Keen Connection to get all the info on the challenges!

I am adding this to:

From all of us... Peachy Peeks Day 3

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

This is my second post for the day. To see my Scrappy Moms Stamps project scroll down or click HERE.

It's day 3 of Peachy Keen Stamps sneak peeks! I am sure many of you have seen some awesome projects using the December stamps.

For today's project I used the new December Stamp of the Month.

There are a total of 4 candles in this set with several different faces to go with them. I colored these fun guys with Copic markers. I placed them on a mat that was cut from Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridges and embossed the white mat with a Sizzix Embossing folder. My designer paper is from Echo Park's "Little Boy."

Here is a close up. I added yellow stickles to the flames and Glossy Accents to the candles. They look so happy!

This is the inside of my card.

Both sentiments are included in the PKSC-12 Decemeber 2012.

Kathy has completely outdone herself this month! You are going to love this release!

These stamps will be available for purchase from the Peachy Keen Stamps store right after the Release Party on the Peachy Keen Connection.

Come join us for some fun, games, and challenges at 7 pm EST.

Now head on over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see some awesome projects from my design team sisters.

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
