Let's Celebrate!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card that I created for the Little Tangles Color Challenge.

The challenge is to use the colors Grey, Yellow, & Pink.

Here is my card:

I know it may not look like it in the picture but the pinks really do match!! I had such a hard time getting a good picture of this card!

I used the strip of dots from Neat and Tangled Party Dots stamp set to create my background. I used Hero Arts shadow inks in Soft Granite, Butter Bar, and Bubble Gum alternating the stamp and the inks.

I cute a party hat from Simply Charmed and added a pom pom made from Timeless Twine Raspberry Lemonade Baker's Twine. I also added some Neat Tangled Satin Sequins in Pretty Pretty Pink and Summer Sun to the rim of the hat.

My sentiment is included in the Party Dots set and was stamped with Hero Arts Charcoal ink.

If you would like to join in the challenge you can find the details on the Little Tangles Blog.

That's it for me today!

Until next time...

Sparkle & Shine ~ Neat and Tangled Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

This week is a light design team week so I found I have a bit of time to play so, I thought I would try a few challenges.

The card I have for you today is for Little Tangles "Case the Birthday Bash Designer" challenge.

For my card, I decided to case Amy T's card. You can see her card HERE.

I used one of the newest released stamp sets from Neat and Tangled called "Merry and Bright." I stamped and paper-pieced the ornament. I added a few sparkles by embossing in Recollections Clear Gold Sparkle Embossing Powder and added a few gems for even more sparkle. The sentiment is from this same set. I just stamped it on a die cut that has been sitting on my desk for some time waiting to be used.

It's hard to see but I spritzed the ornament with some Sheer Shimmer Spritz. I was trying to get as my sparkle and shine as I could get!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Until next time...

Peachy Keen Stamps and Timeless Twine Inspiration

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing to 2 cards that I have created using Peachy Keen Stamps and Timeless Twine!

Peachy Keen Stamps and Timeless Twine has teamed up to bring you inspiration from now through September 28th.

It's my turn on the blog and this is what I am sharing.

For my first card, I knew I wanted to weave my Timeless Twine around the edge so I created a base layer in my Silhouette Design Studio. This allowed me to make my holes just the right size to add a double strand of Timeless Twine around the edge. I cut this cute little monster from KaBoodle Bug Designs called Little Monsters. I stamped a face from PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment on her. I colored in her eyes with a white gel pen and added some Glossy Accents. My sentiment is from PKSC-06 June 2012. My mat was embossed with the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug Embossing folder. Don't you just  love the color of this Timeless Twine! This color is called Raspberry Lemonade.

For my second card, I used the same base and weaved Aqua Delight Timeless Twine around the edge. I stamped and paper-pieced my bear from PKSC-13 January 2013 and added a sentiment from PK-159 Thinking of you Bear.

You can see plenty more inspiration on the Peachy Keen Blog here or here.

Make sure to visit the new Peachy Keen Stamps site and register. There is a fabulous sale going on through  the end of September you don't want to miss!

Thanks for joining me today!

Until next time...

I got out my My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing Tangarine 6x6 paper pad. I have loved this pad and it's apparent because I only have a few sheets left! Thankfully it is still available at Shop Pumpkin Spice!

Once I chose my papers I stamped the cupcake from My Pink Stamper Birthday Doodles stamp set three times. I colored the cupcake with my Copic Markers and added some Orange Peel Stickles to the flames. The sentiment is also from My Pink Stamper Birthday Doodles set.

Shop Pumpkin Spice has many items on sale. Make sure to check out the store HERE or HERE to see all the great deals!

A Spooky Treat for You! ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps September Release

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have another project to share using the newly released Scrappy Moms Stamps "Love at First Bite!" stamp set.

I made another treat container! I am having so much fun putting these together! They are so easy!

This treat container came from SVG Cuts "Gimmie Candy Boxes." There are several treat boxes in this file that I am dying to put together!

For my tag I taped off each part of the sentiment so that I could use 2 different colored inks.

Have a look at the two new released sets from Scrappy Moms Stamps:

Rain or Shine ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card I created for the new Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

This week's challenge is "Friendship."

For this card, I created a base using 2 scallop squares from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge. The top layer was embossed with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder. I chose patterned papers from Heidi Grace "Sunshowers" collection. I found this at Joann Fabrics.

The umbrella is from the Paisley Cricut cartridge. I popped the top up from the handle and added stitching with my white gel pen. I topped it off with some Raspberry Lemonade Timeless Twine.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Fun Celebrations!" set.

Check out the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog for all the details and to see what my fellow designers have created. We would love to see what you create!

Come back tomorrow for another look at the newest release from Scrappy Moms Stamps!

For the Bride & Groom ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps September Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back today to share my second project with Scrappy Moms Stamps September Release.

For my card I used the newly released "Wedded Bliss" set.

For my card, I used an SVG file from SVG Cuts called "Love Always." I embossed the cake with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and inked all the the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. Black gems were added to the flower centers and on the cake. My patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Union Square. This came together beautifully!

Take a look at this fabulous new set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Brew Up Some Fun! ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps September Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the day! Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing TWO new stamp sets this month! You are going to love them!

For today's project I used a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Love at First Bite!"

I put together this cute treat container from an SVG file that I purchased from My Scrap Chick. It's called Spooky Night Trio. The papers I used are from K&Company.

I stamped my sentiment from "Love at First Bite!" and added a little plastic bat that was part of a ring. I just cut off the ring part so I could use the bat. I added some eyelets on the side of my cauldron and put some wire through to create a handle. To that, I added some jute twine and a Studio G brad that I picked up last year. This came together very quickly and I know I will be making a some more.

Now have a look at the two new sets that are available for purchase today!

Aren't they fabulous!!

I will be showcasing projects throughout the next week featuring sentiments from these sets along with my fellow designers. We also have a guest designer with us this month. Be sure to check out the wonderful projects that Melanie from Afternoon Scapper has to share!

Now head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to grab your stamps! They are in stock and ready to ship!

Warning ~ PKS Release Party Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Amber's  Challenge:
The Challenge: Create a project using arrows and your favorite color/colors

My card is definitely more CAS than I am used to doing but I think it came out so cute!

I stamped the cup from the newly released PKSC-21 September 2013 directly onto my card base. I colored the cup with Copic markers and paper-pieced it with some patterned paper. The cute little face is from PKSC-21, as well as, the no coffee sentiment.

The warning sentiment comes from PK-184 Twinkle Twinkle sentiments. I added a few Lawn Fawn wood veneer arrows that i colored with my Copics.

You still have time play along.

Here is all the details:

Bon Appetite ~ PKS Release Party Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I hope you all had a great weekend and are looking forward to another great week!

Today I am share a card that I created for the Peachy Keen Release Party on the Peachy Keen Connection.

This is for challenge #2 hosted by the lovely GiGI aka Cricut Bug.

Gigi's Challenge:
 Faces and Die Cuts!
Create any project that includes a Peachy Keen Face and at least 1 Die Cut

Here is my card for the challenge:

I started with a black card base and layered it with a white piece of cardstock that I had stamped with the utensils from the newly released PK-1337 In the Kitchen set.

Next came a red layer, a black layer on top of that, and then another white layer which I stamped with PK-117 Picnic Tablecloth Background in Hero Arts Soft Granite shadow ink.

I added a bit of red stitching on the sides.

To the top I added some Baker's Twine and grey button along with a sentiment from PK-116 We Go Together. This set could definitely coordinate with the new releases for this month.

My little chef is from SVG Cutting Files called What's Cooking.

I stamped a face from PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment and colored his face with Copic markers.

For his buttons, I wanted to add some black brads but I didn't have black so I colored some purple ones with a back sharpie!

Check out the following information about the challenges.

My Scrap Chick Design team Call

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I was so excited to read that My Scrap Chick is having a design team call.

I have been purchasing SVG files from My Scrap Chick for a few years now and I just love the designs. They are so fun and easy to work with.

I have made several projects using My Scrap Chick files and have posted quite a few recently and even have one on cue for tomorrow. :)

Here are a few of my favorites:

For this card I used the "Night Owls" file. You can find my original post HERE.

I love this card. The file is called "Trio of Bunnies." This file is no longer available or I just couldn't find it. You can find my original post HERE.

This file is a pocket card.  It's called "Cup of Cocoa and Tea Set." This card has a tag that pulls from top with a place to write your sentiment. You can find my original post HERE.

This is an easel card. I love the pretty design of this card. The file is called "Frills Easel Card." You can find my original post HERE.

This shaped card was so easy to put together. It is called "Canning Jars and Preserves." You can find my original post HERE.

As you can see, I make a lot of cards. I do, however, like to  make 3D projects, also.

Here are a few of my favorites.

This pretty acorn is from "Acorn & Pinecone Boxes." You can find my original post HERE.

I made this one more recent. This is the "School Pencil Box." It was super quick and easy to put together. You can find my original post HERE.

My style tends to be a little cute but I love to use pattern papers and embellishments to make a project my own.

If you are looking for great cutting files that are easy to put together then visit My Scrap Chick. You will be amazed at the variety of SVG files available!

Come back tomorrow to see what else I have created using a My Scrap Chick file.

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Perk Up! ~ Peachy Keen Stamps September Sneak Peek

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a peek of the newest stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps

This month's stamps are not only designed for the cooks or baker's in your life but they have so many other uses!

Here's a look at what I created:

I used an svg file from Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbon to create this K-Cup gift holder. I, then decorated it with stamps from the PKSC-21 September 2013 Stamp of the month.

Here is the side view:

This would be a great "pick-me-up" for someone!

I used kraft cardstock for the holder. The little coffee cup was randomly stamped to create a background. I used clear embossing powder and Versa Mark ink. I stamped and paper-pieced the large coffee cup for my focal point. The cup is placed on a circle and scallop circle that I cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge. I cut the shape for my sentiment from the svg file that you can purchase that coordinates with the stamps and stamped and paper-pieced it. The sentiment  and the sentiment background shape are included to the September Stamp of the Month.

I added a strip of patterned paper and a scallop border and wrapped some May Arts Jute round it. I finished it off with a bow and button.

All my patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye "In a Blink of an Eye" collection.

Now hurry over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see even more peeks of this month's stamps!

And don't for get about the release party on Thursday, September 5th, over that the Peachy Keen Connection.

The stamps will be available for purchase from Peachy Keen Stamps following the party!!

I have plenty to share with you this week so be on the look out!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
