Life's Better in Flip Flops ~ SMS and MKC CO - HOP

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

To celebrate Scrappy Moms Stamps Anniversary, The Scrappy Moms Stamps designers are having a co-hop with the Miss Kate Cuttables designers. This is Day 4 of the the celebration and I know you have seen some pretty awesome stuff!

Miss Kate Cuttables sell the cutest SVG files!  The files come with .JPGs and .PNGs so you can also print them - they are so versatile!  Miss Kate Cuttables offer a Freebie of the Day - yes, a free file everyday!

Scrappy Moms Stamps has been in business for 4 years and produces wonderful sentiment stamps and dies.

We think that Scrappy Moms Stamps and Miss Kate Cuttables compliment each other quite well, as you have probably seen.

Each day of the hop you will have a chance to receive the cut files featured that day as well as a chance to win a Scrappy Mom Stamps prize.

Here is the card I made using the Flip Flop Set from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The set comes with 3 pair of flip flops and I thought it would be fun create a card that was in part a shaped card. The Flip Flop Set comes with a shadow around each pair so I welded them together in my Silhouette Designer's Studio and attached a rectangle to the shadow.

I tied some Baker's Twine in Caribbean, Cantaloupe, and Honeydew to the top of my card. To that I added my sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sun Kissed! set.

As I mentioned there is a prize up for grabs, as well as, some cut files.

To receive the Miss Kate Cuttables files and to gain a chance at a Scrappy Moms Stamps prize, you must do the following:

1. Leave a comment on the Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog
2. Leave a comment on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog
3. Be a follower of each of the above blogs, as well as, a follower of each of the designers blogs.
4. Leave a comment on each designers blogs.
5. At the end of the hop you must send an email to TheScrapbookingQueen1@gmail.com to receive a code for the free files.

Thank you for joining me today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Cool Cat ~ with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a fun project on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog for this week's Face Day Inspiration.

I love my Peachy Keen Stamp faces! They always bring die cuts to life and give them such character.

Today I made a fun little gift set using a cut file from My Scrap Chick.

This cut file comes with face pieces but I really wanted to add a Peachy Keen Face to the kitten. I didn't have a big enough kitten face for this project so I looked at all my Peachy Keen Faces and found that I could use just the eyes from PK-1202 The Moodies. These stamps are 2 1/4 inches and the perfect size for this kitten. I did stamp one eye at a time so that they would be a little closer together.

Here you can see the eyes a bit better. I colored them with my white gel pen and once dried I went over them with a green Copic marker. I, then, added some Ranger Glossy Accents to them for some nice shine.

The whiskers were stamped from PK-111 Here Kitty Kitty 1 1/8" faces. I used white pigment ink for them but that didn't really show up well so I went over them with my white gel pen.

The sentiment I chose came from PK-1350 Cool Cats.

Working with Peachy Keen Stamps Faces is really fun and no matter what, you can find a face or combine faces to get the look you are going for.

Make sure to visit the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog every Monday for more Peachy Keen Stamps Face Inspiration.

Thank you for joining me today.

Happy Stamping!

Everyday since Monday Kimberly, along with the designers, have been giving you a sneak peek of this new release and today is finally the day that you get to see the whole thing!

Kimberly has released  4 new stamp sets and 2 new metal die sets and they are WONDERFUL!!

Before I show you the release I just want to take a moment to thank Kimberly for the opportunity to create with her products. I truly enjoyed working with the stamps and dies!!

If you have arrived here from Robin's Blog, then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog and would like to start from the beginning the head on over to Kimberly's Blog at My Craft Spot.

For my project today I used the brand new Build a Birthday Stamp set and the Fancy Edges 2 Metal Dies.

I made a gift card holder. This was a cut file that I found at My Scrap Chick called You Did It Gift Card Holder. I cut the card to size but didn't use all the elements that came with the file. I stamped the front of my card with the My Craft Spot's Build a Birthday set. I LOVE this set because it allows you to customize the sentiments. I added a border to each side of my card using the new Fancy Edges 2 Metal Dies and I added some pretty gems to the centers of the flowers.

For the inside of my card, I again chose sentiments from the Build A Birthday stamps set.

Have a look at the new stamps and metal dies:

These new stamps and metal dies are now available for purchase today from My Craft Spot!! YAY!

It's Day 3 of the My Craft Spot's June Sneak Peeks and today we are featuring the Music stamp set.

This stamp set is filled with beautiful fonts and musical sentiments.

For my card I really felt that doing a watercolor background would go beautifully with the sentiment I chose to use.

For my background I used 5 different Distress Inks. Once my background was dry I spritzed it with some Glimmer spray to give it a nice sheen. I stamped my sentiment, music notes, and staff with embossing ink and heat embossed it in black.

The corners of my watercolor paper was punched with a Fiscars punch. I finished my card off with some Caribbean Crinkle Ribbon ( found at My Craft Spot ) and a pink rose.

Gear-ific Birthday ~ My Craft Spot June Sneak Peek Day 2

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you are looking for Peachy Keen Stamps Day 2 project just scroll down or click HERE

Today Day is Day 2 of My Craft Spots June Sneak Peeks!

We are featuring the Robots stamp set. This set has lots of fun phrases!

For my card, I decided that I wanted to use gears to go with my sentiment from the Robots stamp set. As, I was deciding how I wanted to design the card, I thought it would be fun to added the gears to the bottom edge and weld them to my card base. I designed this in my Silhouette software. The gears are from the Silhouette online store. To give the card a little dimension, popped a few of the gears.

This card also features the new My Craft Spot Fancy Edges 2 Dies. I added that across the top of my card and tied some Black Baker's Twine ( available at My Craft Spot ) across the top. I added some doodling to finish off this card.

To help the gears stand out, I added a strip of black cardstock to the inside of the card.

How would you like to win a My Craft Spot stamps set?

Today Kimberly is giving away Banner Sentiments.

To win this set just head on over to My Craft Spot and leave a comment, of course, I'd love if you left me a comment, too! ;)

All the new stamps and dies will be available for purchase on Saturday.

Happy Face ~ Peachy Keen Stamps June Sneak Peek ~ Day 2

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Scroll down for my My Craft Spot's sneak peek.

Today, the Peachy Keen Stamps designers are bringing you samples of our creations made with the Elephant Parade and It’s Showtime stamp sets.   Images in these two great sets invoke all the excitement of the circus.  From the cutest elephants you’ve EVER seen to tickets and big top tents, along with some great coordinating sentiments, these sets will be GREAT as you plan, prepare and create your Summer projects!

Here is the card I made to share with you tonight.

I used the Elephant Parade stamp set to stamp this cute elephant. I paper-pieced her and popped her head up from her body. The sentiment is from this set, also. I stamped it on a piece of "washi tape" that I actually die cut with a metal die from My Craft Spot called Washi Tape.

The elephant is layered on a piece of white cardstock that I embossed with the Seeing Spots folder from Cuttlebug.

Do you the see the swirls on my background paper? That was made with the new background stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps called Chinese Swirls. I used 2 different colors of pigment ink and stamped it on some Kraft cardstock.

~~~ PRIZE ALERT ~~~
For your chance to win the stamp sets being showcased tonight,  just leave a comment.  Want even more chances to win?   Be sure to leave comments on the PKS Blog, as well as our designer blogs and you”ll get one entry for each comment!  Winner will be announced in tomorrow’s sneak peek blog post on The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.
