We are featuring the new Farmers Market stamp set today.

I just love this truck that is included in this set. I wanted to keep this card pretty clean so I just stamped and colored it with Copic markers.

I used distress inks to color the background. The sentiments are included in this set. I stacked the "thanks" on top of each other and stamped them in the back of the truck.

Once colored and inked I used the CDD Fancy Frames Dies to cut it out. I love these dies!!

Craftin Desert Divas not has a new look and a new shop so make sure to check it out!

Welcome to our mid post for this week's "Photo Inspiration" challenge.

For this challenge we had to use the photo below for inspiration.

I love the colors that are pictured and as you can see I did almost a literal interpretation.

I made this card for my youngest daughter's 19th birthday.

I used a cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs to create my cupcake. This is called Treatful Cuties and it includes a lot of fun cuts.

I inked all my edges and added some coarse glitter to the top.

I had to use my favorite dies from Craftin Desert Divas Fancy Frames for the base of my card. My sentiment is actually from two Craftin Desert Divas sets. I used a sentiment from Little Super Star and a sentiment from Baked with Love.

Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

Smile ~ KaDoodle Bug Design Charmkin Cutie

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a newly release cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

Melissa has done it again! She has created a new group of files that are just darling and named them Charmkin Cuties.

My card features the Charmkin Cuties - Tooth Fairy.

Isn't she cute! I used the Fancy Frames Dies from Craftin Desert Divas to create the base of my card. My tooth fairy was cut with my Cameo. I layered her together and glittered her up!

Look at those eyes!! I added a bit of  Clear Wink of Stella to the eyes and put some Ranger Glossy Accents on top.

My sentiment and tag is from My Craft Spot (no longer available).

You can check out all the new Charmkin Cuties HERE. The best part is that they are on sale!!

Thanks for joining me today!!

A Sunny Hello and A Diva Duel!

Well, not really a Diva Duel!

Starting today the Craftin Desert Divas design team is doing something special called Two for Tuesdays!

Two for Tuesday will feature 2 designers using the same image from one of the Craftin Desert Divas stamp sets. The two designers collaborate and decide what the image will be and both will make something with that image.

It is really fun to see what each designer will create.

I collaborated with Leah and we decided to use the cute little girl from the CDD Beach Bound set.

I am always in awe with Leah's creativity and cannot wait for you to see her card.

Here is my card using that sweet little girl.

This card was a lot of inky fun. To create my beach background I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks. For the sky I used: Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, and Abandoned Coral. To create my ocean I used: Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean.  Of course, my scene would not be complete without some sand. I used the Outdoor Landscape Dies and more Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo to get the look I wanted to achieve.

My images were colored with Copic markers. The sentiment, starfish, and little girl are all from CDD Beach Bound stamp set. To balance the card out, I stamped the little sandcastle from CDD Crabby stamps. For a little bling I added a few gems and a bit of Wink of Stella to my little girl's sunglasses.

Make sure to head on over to the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog to see how Leah used this cute little image.

Sweet Wishes!

Today is the Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!

Welcome to our mid post for this week's "Keeping Cool" challenge.

Here is what I created for the challenge:

I actually used my Silhouette Cameo for this card!! After the last update my Cameo was not running so well but now I think I have it back to its old self. When I found out the theme to the linky party I knew I wanted to use one of the Cutie KaToodles from KaDoodle Bug Designs called Cutie KaToodles - Creamsicle Pop Bear. I love these Cutie KaToodles!!  I inked all my edges with Distress Ink and added some Glossy Accents to her eyes and creamsicle.

I love the new Fancy Frames from Craftin Desert Divas so much I just had to use them again. I cut all my patterned pieces from Doodle Bug Designs Sunkissed Paper Pad.

I heat embossed a sentiment and paw from CDD Panda Pals and added to the little fishtail banner.

Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

You Bake Me Happy!!

Hi there! I am back today to share a quick card I made today.

I used a cute file from KaDoodle Bug Designs called Little Cookie Monster and cut him with my Silhouette Cameo. For the glass of milk I used some vellum to give it more of transparent appearance. I just hid the glue under strategic places so that the recipient can't see it.  I love Melissa's designs. Many of them come with a bottom template that makes putting them together so easy. If you haven't tried one of her files you can always go and grab one of her FREEBIEs to give it a try.

I paired this cutie with a sentiment from Craftin Desert Divas Baked With Love stamps. I also used the new Fancy Frames Dies from CDD. These will be available for purchase tomorrow.

That's it for me today! Have a good night!

You're the Best! ~ Craftin Desert Divas Mini Release Sneak Peek Day 2

It's day 2 of Craftin Desert Divas Mini Release Sneak Peeks!

Today we are showcasing the new Beyond Measure Stamps and Coordinating Dies.

For my project I put together a fun little back to school gift.

I gathered a few pink school supplies and arranged them in this pail that I purchased from Target.

I attached my tag to the pail with a fun polka dot binder clip that I have had in my stash forever.

To create the tag I used the new Fancy Frames Dies. I love these dies!! I stamps my images on some Kraft cardstock  and proceed to color them with my Prismacolor Pencils. I have not used my pencils in forever so it was like playing with something new!

I added a heart paperclip and finished it off with a bit of Baker's Twine. I, also, added some Glossy Accents to the apple and glasses.

The new stamps and dies will be available fore purchase Friday, August 7th, in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop. We will be having a reveal blog hop both Friday and Saturday with a few more FREEBIES.

Head on over to Facebook for the sneak peek page hop. There is a FREEBIE cut file up for grabs just for hopping along.

You can start at the Craftin Desert Divas Fanpage.

It's Pandamonium! ~ Craftin Desert Divas Mini Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi There! Today the design team for Craftin Desert Divas is sharing a few sneak peeks of the CDD Mini Release, as well as, a Facebook Hop that includes a FREEBIE.

Today we are sharing a peek at the new Fancy Frames Dies.
I love these dies and know that they will be used in my card making quite often!

Here is what I made:

Sandy Allnock made a Pulled Spinner Card a few week's ago and I just knew I had to make one. I pretty much CASED hers. If you would like to make one just go to Sandy's blog HERE. She has a wonderful tutorial that shows how to create a Pulled Spinner Card.

For my spinner card I created my base using the new Craftin Desert Divas Fancy Frames. I thought the CDD Panda Pals would be so cute to use for card. My hills we created using the CDD Outdoor Landscape Dies.

These pands are too cute! This picture gives you a closer look at the stitching around those Fancy Edges dies.

Here is a short video of my little panda spinning.

I mentioned a freebie at the beginning. If you would like to get in the fun head on over to Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Page to start the hop from the beginning.

You can visit my Facebook page HERE.
