The Perfect Pear

This card is made for the Peachy Keen Stamps sketch and color challenge. I wasn't sure I cared for the colors at first but once i got the card put together I really liked it.

This is the sketch and color combination we were to follow.

My card is 4.25 x 5.5.

The recipe:

  Cricut Cartridges~ Plantin Schoolbook~ I used my Gypsy to lay out my whole card and cut all my layers sizing the rectangles as follows: Layer 1~ 4 x 5.25; Layer 2~ 3.25 x 3.5; Layer 3~ 3 x 3.25; Layer 4~ 2.75 x 3; Layer 5~ 2.5 x 2.75; I cut these all on real dial size. I cut the tag at 2 inches. I also cut the scallops sized at 4 x .75. The pears and all the layers are cut at 2.25 inches from the Just Because Cards cartridge.

  Cuttlebug~ Floral Fantasy~ I embossed the melon cardstock with this folder

  Cardstock is from Colorbok except for the melon. That is from Papertrey Ink.

  Sentiment~ Studio G

  Distress Ink~ Tea Dye~ I inked around all the edges of each cut.

  Ribbon is from WalMart

  Pop dots for the pear and tag

I think that is it. I really enjoyed this challenge and hope to participate in the future.
