ABC and 123 ~ PKS and SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today Peachy Keen Stamps and SVG Cutting Files are teaming up for a blog hop. This is a 2 day hop and this is Day 1.

If you arrived her from Gwen's blog: This and That by Gwen, then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog and want to start from the beginning then head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

The goal of this hop is to inspire you to use your Peachy Keen Stamps with SVG Cutting Files. There are so many files to choose from and boy, are they ever cute!

For my project I created a teacher's gift using the 3D Book Box SVG cutting file.

I combined the file with several Peachy Keen Stamps. I used PKSC-08 September 2012 for the cute little apple, face, and sentiment. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder to look like chalk.

On the side I used PKSC-09 September 2012 for the thank you sentiment.

I added some Twinery Baker's Twine to the front to create a bookmark and Trendy Twine for the bow on the apple. The brads are from my stash.

It's a little hard to see from the picture but I took a few strips of white cardstock and ran it through my paper crimper to give the look of pages.

The box opens up to reveal a chocolate treat but you could put a gift card or some other small gift inside.

All the paper used for theis box is from My Mind's Eye "School Daze" 6x6 paper pad.

Before you leave, I wanted to make you aware that there are TWO $35.00 gift certificates ( 1 from Peachy keen Stamps and 1 from SVG Cutting Files ) up for grabs for each day of the hop! (remember this is day 1) All you have to do to win is leave a comment on each blog along the hop.

Thank you for stopping today!

Now it's time to go see what Jaymie from This and That Scraps has for you today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
