You're Such a Dear ~ A Peachy Announcement

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Peachy Keen Stamps is announcing the 2014 design team today and I am so excited to share that I was asked to be part of the team for a third term! I love Peachy Keen Stamps, Kathy's designs, and the whole family!!

The term will be from February 2014 - July 2014.

Here is the list of all of this term's designers:

Lorie Souther - http://www.thinkinspot.com/

I am so excited to work with these ladies. I have been following some of them for quite some time. They are all so talented and I cannot wait to see what they create this year!

For the occasion I created a quick card.

I pulled out my December 2013 Stamp of the Month and the Woodland Birch Background stamp for the this card.

This deer is so sweet! I colored her with my Copic markers.

The background stamp and sentiment were both heat embossed with white embossing powder. I distressed the edges of my papers and added some stitching with my sewing machine.

Please be sure to check out the announcement on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. There you will find bios of all of the designers and links to their blogs.

February 1st sneak peeks will begin and you are going to love this release!! I can't wait to show you what I am creating!

Thank you for visiting today!

Until next time...

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back today to share another look at Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release.

For my card today, I used another cut file from My Scrap Chick called Trio of Piggies. I used the tag that is included in the file but turned it into a shaped card instead.

I inked all the edges of my pieces and stamped a face from PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment. from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I added some stitching with my sewing machine and a bow to my piggy. Isn't she cute!

The sentiment on my card is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Farm Fresh set. I stamped it on a hand-cut banner. This set is full of fun phrases.

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Let me show you what I made first, then I will show you the stamps! :)

When I first saw this sentiment, I knew right away I that I wanted to use it with this cute Dinosaur Belly Box from My Scrap Chick. I cut my box and inked all my edges. The eyes on my box was stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps The Cornies Face Assortment. I added some chalk to his cheeks and added some accents with my white gel pen.

The sentiment is from the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps Tiny Treasures set. I stamped it on a hand cut banner and attached it to a toothpick.

A little twine was added and he was done!

For my treat holder I used the Heart Matchbook file. It is super quick and easy to put together and another wonderful thing about is is that it is only $1.00!

I used paper from Echo Park's Head Over Heels collection. Love was cut with my Silhouette Cameo using a font from my computer.

Bee Mine ~ My Scrap Chick Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a cute shaped card using a file from My Scrap Chick. This card will be featured on the My Scrap Chick Facebook page.

For my cute little bee card, I used the Lil' Bee cut file. The shaped card was created simply by cutting out 2 of the body shapes. I scored a line at the top of one of my body shapes and added adhesive to that part only. Then I adhered the front to the back. There is no welding involved. I decided to cut two sets of wings in vellum and ran them through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.

Here is a picture of the side view:

And a close up of the cute little face.

I used PK-180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps for her face.

I enlarged one of the hearts and wrote my sentiment on it. A little glitter and a bow and my cute little Valentine bee is complete!

Be sure to visit My Scrap Chick to check out all their wonderful files.

Thank you for joining me today,
Until next time...
