Today we are showcasing the "All Aboard" and "Birthday Express" stamps

Here's what I've created for you!

I had so much fun creating this card! I used this cute little image of the giraffe from the "Birthday Express" stamp set. I colored him up with my Copic markers and added some Clear Wink of Stella to give him a little sparkle.

My sentiment is from the "All Aboard" stamp set. It really coordinates well with these images! 

Don't you just love my background! I do!! 

I had wanted to try creating a Bokeh background and my first attempt was bleh! But this one came out just perfect. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks in the following colors to get this look: Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, and Cracked Pistachio. Such a fun technique that I know I will try again!

My banner was hand cut. I didn't have quite the right shade of solid cardstock so I created my own by inking my white cardstock with my Distress inks.

To finish the card off I just had to add some sequins!

Foxy Birthday ~ with Craftin Desert Diva's

Hi there! I am back today with another project featuring Craftin Desert Diva's "Bring On The Cake" stamp set.

When I saw this cute bag at My Scrap Chick I knew that I wanted to make it.

This was really simple to put together and I think these would be great for a child's birthday party. This fox is from My Scrap Chick called Fox Treat Bag. I put it together as is after inking all of my pieces.

As I said earlier, I used the Craftin Desert Diva's Bring On The Cake stamp set. I, also, used the new Deer Friends set and heat embossed the sentiments in black.

Cake! ~ with Craftin Desert Divas

Hi there! 

Over the next 2 weeks I am going to be sharing a few projects featuring the Bring On The Cake stamp set from Craftin Desert Diva's. 

I think this is a great basic birthday set and one that will be used over and over.

For my first project I created a shaped card.

For my shaped card I started with a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Happy Cake Treatkins.

I wanted my cake to have some texture so I embossed the frosting with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I thought this sentiment from Craftin Desert Diva's Bring On The Cake would look perfect on a speech bubble. So, I hand cut it and layered in on some blue cardstock.

Here you can see that I added some Yellow Stickles to my candle flames and some Glossy Accents to the candles.

A few white pen work and this cute card is finished!

Live, Love, Grow ~ Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party

Today is the Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!! Welcome to our mid post for this weeks "Ribbon" challenge.

For this this challenge I decorated the front of a mini album I have been working on.

I taught this mini in a class at JoAnn Fabrics. My pages are in the mini but I have yet to decorate them so you only get to see the cover today.

I used DCWV Mariposa 12 x 12 paper stack and various Prima Flowers that I have had in  my stash. I added some gold tread behind the flowers and scattered a few gold sequins about. Ribbon was added to the spine and will be used as the closure for the mini album.

My sentiment on the front and spine is from Craftin' Desert Divas Blooming For You stamp set. It was stamped inside the tag shape from Tag It. I just fussy cut it out.

Now to share my card with you today.

 For my card I used the brand new Craftin Desert Divas Deer Friends set. 

This set includes some cute little forest animals and fun sentiments.

I started with a water colored background. After it dried I used a stencil and embossing paste to add my hearts. 

I colored the cute little raccoon with Copic markers and added my sentiment that is included in the set.

I've been having fun trying some new things and love the way this card came together.

We have a new lineup and freebie for tomorrow's hop.
