My Super Hero ~ Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party

Happy Monday!

 Welcome to our mid post for this weeks "Father's Day" challenge.

Here is what I created for the challenge.

I colored up this cute little superhero from CDD Calling All Superheroes stamp set. The blue mat is from CDD Tag Essentials Dies and I added some of the brand new Freedom sequins which are now available in the CDD Shop.

My sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and I created the paint splattered background with acrylic paint. I wanted something a bit more vibrant.

The inside of my card was stamped with a sentiment from CDD Happy Celebrations and the Boom is from CDD Little Super Star.

You Are Simply Moovelous! ~ Craftin Desert Divas Sequin Release

Hi there! Happy Friday!

Today Craftin Desert Divas is releasing new sequins! YAY! I love sequins and I know many of you love them, too!

I made a card featuring the new Star Power Sequins.

I started off paper piecing this cute Cutie KaToodles Girl Cow from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

She was added to my card front which had a window cut out using the CDD Tag Essentials dies.

The acetate window was stamped and heat embossed with CDD Simply Moovelous and Calling All Super Heroes stamps. Heat embossing did make the acetate warp a little but I was able to get it to lay flat with some patience and lots of adhesive!

I love the colors in this mix of sequins! So fun!

Let Your Dreams Soar! ~ Craftin Desert Divas Daily Post

Hi There! It's my day to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas blog and this is what I am sharing!

I was playing with some distress inks and created a watercolor background to showcase my Craftin Desert Divas stamps and dies.

I started with Craftin Desert Divas The Sky is the Limit stamps and coordinating die for this card. I decided to paper-piece that kites using Doodlebug Designs Sunkissed papers, The tails were colored in with Copic markers.

The sentiment for my card comes from CDD Happy Thoughts stamp set. There are a few sentiments on this set that really work well with The Sky is the Limit set.

Hi There! Melissa the owner of KaDoodle Bug Designs is on vacation so the design team decided that this is a great time to have a Facebook Fan Page hop! After all, when the boss is away the kids will play!

Here is what I am sharing:

I used the adorable cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs called S'More Love to create this card.

The cute little bear was added a a background that was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch and run through my Big Shot with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. 

My sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas The Great Outdoors stamp set. This set comes with this cute bear in stamp form!

I added Glossy Accents to my hearts and Yellow and Orange Peel Stickles to the fire.

Here is what I created for the challenge.

I used Craftin Desert Divas Gotta Wear Shades stamps for my image and sentiment. This cute little bear is colored with Copic markers and I added a little Wink of Stella to the water.

The sun is from CDD The Sky is the Limit stamp set.

Craftin Desert Divas now carries Doddlebug Papers and Sprinkle and I just love these! It is called Sunkissed and it is definitely perfect for summer projects. The sprinkles are called Tangerine and they are glittered! Who doesn't love glitter!

For A Special Little One ~ DCD Guest Post & Challenge

Hi There! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing holiday weekend!

Today I have the honor of being a guest designer for the newest Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. 

The challenge this week is Baby Love

Here is what I created:

I had a lot of fun putting this sweet giraffe together. She is from KaDoodle Bug Design called Cutie KaToodles - Giraffe. I layered her on a background created using the Craftin Desert Divas Banner Dies.

My sentiment comes from Craftin Desert Divas Bitty Blessing and was stamped on a tag from the Tag Essentials Die. I added a few Doodle Bug Sprinkles in Bubble Gum, Hip Hip Hooray, and Tangerine. I added some sparkle to my giraffe's eyes using Wink of Stella in Clear.

This picture is a little blurry but I wanted you to see the different layers. This die cut looks a lot better when you pop some of the layers.
