Hello my crafty friends! Today is my last day as the guest designer on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. I have enjoyed sharing my love for Peachy Keen Stamps with you.
I want to thank Kathy and the Peachy Keen Family for giving me this wonderful opportunity. They are the best! Special thanks to Angelica for coordinating all of this. She is Awesome!
I am so excited today because I got to work alongside the PKS Let’s Face It Friday design team! These girls do a fabulous job of inspiring each of us to create with our PK Faces. I am thrilled, to say the least!
So here is the challenge: PKS Let’s Face It Challenge #12
Flower Power!
Create a project using a handmade flower. Handmade flowers are making a huge come back! At CHA this winter, we saw TONS of ways to make your own custom blooms using mists, petal rollers, and scoring tools. For this challenge, create any project you like, and embellish it with a pretty handmade flower!
-Design must be new
-Project must include Peachy Keen Faces
-Link up before April 1st
Here’s what you could win:
PK-461 Happy Lashes Faces- set of 6
PK-561 Dolly Dumplin Faces - set of 6
For my project I made a card with gathered ribbon flowers.
Oh My Goodness!! This face just makes me smile! I love the way this card came out. This PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment is just so much fun!
Here is what I used to create this card:
Peachy Keen Stamps ~ PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment
Cricut Cartridges ~ Create A Critter for the skunk and flower stems
Accent Essentials for the scalloped background
Sentiment ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends
Fiscars Punch for the grass
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Wild Honey
Ranger Glossy Accents ~ gotta give those eyes and that nose a little shine!
My Craft Spot ~ Buttercup Crinkle Ribbon – Love This!
Gingham ribbon for flowers
Buttons
You can click HERE for a tutorial on making gathered ribbon flowers.
Now before you go I want you to know that the generous Peachy Keen family allowed me to pick out a set of stamps for one of you to win this week. As I was looking through the stamps I just could not pass up these cuties!
PK-757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment
All you have to do to win these cuties is to leave a comment here on my blog and on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog. You don't have to follow me but I certainly won't frown if you do :)
For more chances to win make sure to leave a comment on each of my Peachy Keen posts this week. I will use Random.org to choose a winner on Saturday, March 19th.
Now hop on over to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog and show the design team some love. I look forward to seeing all your creations!
Again, I want to thank you all for the sweet comments. You are such an encouragement to me.
