Got Eggs? ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

It's another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week's theme is anything Easter related.

 

I am posting this a little late but I am still without internet at home.

 

For my card I had to use the cute dressed-up bear from Teddy Bear Parade.

 

 

I stamped his face with a face from PKSC-13 January 2013. Glossy Accents were added to his eyes for some shine.

 

It's subtle and may be hard to see but I stamped PK-107 Cloudy Day background onto some patterned paper to create my sky.

 

I hand cut the eggs and added grass that I punch from a Fiscars grass punch.

 

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Spring Fling" set.

Somebunny Special ~ PKS Sketch Challenge

This week for the Peachy Keen Stamps has a sketch challenge for you.

 

All you have to do is following the sketch and enter your creation on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.

 

Here are the details:

 

THE CHALLENGE

Create a card or layout of your choice following the sketch provided.

We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!

- Link up by 3/27 - 11:59 pm EST

 

Here is what I created:

 

 

I followed the sketch pretty closely. This cutie patootie bunny and egg come the newly released PK- 191 Easter Bunnies (egg) and PK-192 Somebunny Special (bunny and sentiment).

 

I colored the bunny and egg with Copic markers and used a Spica pen on the egg. It's a little hard to see the sparkle but it is there.

Thanks So Much! ~ SPS Inspiration

I have been in the moving process from what seems like forever! Our family moved from North Carolina to Pennsylvania in February. It was not without some problems but we are finally in our house and I am starting to get my craft room together. I still have quite a few boxes to unpack but I have enough unpacked to start creating again.

Today I am sharing inspiration using products that can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.

 

We were welcomed to our new neighborhood by some very friendly neighbors so I needed to make some thank you cards. I am in the mood for spring so this is what I put together.

 

 

To create this card I took an image of a kite from the Sugar and Spice cricut Lite cartridge and used this bright and cheerful cardstock from Fancy Pants designs "Be You" 6x6 pad. The string for my kite is from The Twinery's Baker's Twine in Pink Sorbet.

 

I punched a scallop circle from Fisacars and stamped it with stamps from Technique Tuesday "Sweet Somethings." I just tucked it behind my rectangle.

 

This was super fast to create and I have another sitting on my desk ready to be put together.

Easter Blessings ~ PKS and RRR

This week Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon are teaming up to bring you a week of inspiration!

 

My card today features products from both Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon.

 

 

For my card, I used the newest release from Peachy Keen Stamps, PKSC-15 March 2013. I paper-pieced this adorable bunny and colored her face with Copic markers. The background is from PK-107 Cloudy Day.

 

My card base is from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I sized a circle from Accent Essentials for the background layer. I weaved 1/2" Seam Binding in Lavender through the scallops and added a double bow topped with a button. Really Reasonable Ribbon has a great selection of ribbon with hundreds or colors and patterns to choose from.

 

Here is a close up of the cute little bunny. My papers are from and old Martha Stewart paper pad.

 

The inside the card is stamped with a sentiment from PKSC-15 March 2013.

Nerd's Rock ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps March Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

 

Oh, my crafty friends, I so miss posting and blog visiting! I am my new home dealing with some internet issues at my new home and I have no idea when it will be resolved. You don't know how much you depend on internet until you don't have it. I will be so thankful when we can be connected again.

 

In the mean time, I am doing my posting from several different hot spots in my area. Not the most convenient, but it is better than nothing.

 

Today I am excited to share with you the new Scrappy Moms Stamps release for the month of March.

Sweet News ~ Peachy Keen Stamps Sneak Peek

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

 

I know it's been a while since I have posted anything. I am so excited to share a project with you all.

 

My project tonight features a sneak peek from Peachy Keen Stamps March 2013 release.

 

This little cutie is from PKSC-15 March 2013.

 

I colored the baby's face with Copic markers and paper pieced the bonnet.

I paired the face and bonnet with the body from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. 

 

The sentiment is from one of the new add on sets that will be released in a few days, PK-192 Somebunny Special.
