Whimsical Wishes ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

Hi There! Wow is this month ever going fast!!

Today I am sharing a card featuring new stamps and dies from Craftin Desert Divas.

I used the new Whimsical Wishes stamps and the new Scene Builder Dies to create this card.

If you love fairies, you are going to love the new Whimsical Wishes stamps! The images are so cute and so fun to color!

I colored my fairy/gnome with Copic markers. 

She was added to a background that inked with Distress Inks using masks I created with the Outdoor Landscape Dies and the Stitched Scallop Dies and cut my panel out with the Fancy Frame Dies.

I added some clouds and the tree stump from the new Scene Builder Dies.

The sentiment and mushrooms were added to complete the card.

Craftin Desert Divas November Release is HERE!

Hi Everyone! I hope you have had a fabulous week!

As you know, all this week the Craftin Desert Divas design team has been sharing sneak peeks of this month's release. Well, today you are able to purchase everything you have seen!

And to tempt you even more I have created another card.

I could not wait to color up this little cabin from the new CDD Snow Day set! I just love it!!

I used the new Inside Scalloped Squares Dies to create the base of my card. It has in inlaid look to it. For my white inside panel I used CDD Heart of Heart Dies and then I stamped using the the new CDD Doodled Frames stamps.

Here is a little better view of that log cabin.

I colored it up using my Copic markers. The sentiment comes with the new Snow Day stamps.

Autumn Wishes ~ CDD Social Media Challenge

Hi There! Today I have a card that I made to go with Craftin Desert Divas Social Media Challenge.

If you haven't heard of this challenge then let me explain.

Every month Craftin Desert Divas provides a Mood Board. Using the Mood Board as a jumping off point you create a project using CDD products. You post on various social medial outlets ie. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and used the #CDDMONTHLY

You also need to upload your picture to the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery.

I started with a water colored panel and used dies to cut out a window from patterned paper.

I added my colored images and a little ribbon for an accent.

Wool be Friends ~ CDD Social Media Challenge

Hi There! I hope you all are having a great week so far!

Today I am sharing a little inspiration for the Craftin Desert Divas Social Media challenge on Facebook.

This whole month we have been sharing projects that are inspired by our Inspiration board.

Following the farm theme this is the card I created:

These lambs are the cutest! They are from the CDD Punny Farm set.

I colored them with Copic markers and put them on a panel that I inked up with some Distress inks. I cut my panel with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies.

My sentiment was perfect for this card. It is from CDD Animal Antics set. I finished the card off with some hearts that I die cut from CDD Pocket Pieces Hi Dies. I covered them with Glossy Acctes fro some shine and even put a little on the sheep noses.

It's A Jungle Weekly Spread ~ Craftin Desert Divas Sept. Release

Hi there! The day has finally arrived!! 

The Craftin Divas September Release is now available in the shop!

Today we are are sharing some more inspiration featuring the stamps and dies from this release.

This is what I am sharing:

I created a Jungle theme for my Happy Planner. I combined the It's All About Zoo stamps with the new CDD Zoo Critters stamps.

I also used the new Weekend stamps and the new Work It Out stamps, as well as, CDD Market Place stamps, Plan It Out stamps, and Hall Pass stamps.

All of the images were colored with Copic markers. I kept the colors centered around the greens, yellows, and teals. And did you see that washi? I love it and you can find that in the CDD shop, as well!

The little Polaroid was stamped with the Picture This stamps. I used a few stickers that coordinated with my color scheme to keep everything cohesive.

Workin It Out Fitness Spread ~ Craftin Desert Divas September Release

Hi Everyone! It's Hump Day so that week is almost halfway over!

All week the Craftin Desert Diva designers have been sharing September release projects and there are a few more days to go!

Today we are sharing the new Craftin Desert Divas Work It Out stamps.

I am so excited about this set because I have been into fitness for over 15 years so these were right up my ally!

I decorated a week in my Happy Planner Fitness Planner.

This spread was a lot of fun to put together. I  love the new Work It Out stamps and know that they will be part of my regular planning. I used several other CDD products and I will list those at the end of this post.

I incorporated a few CDD Digi stamps on this spread, as well. These cute little fitness animals just make me smile!

All stamps and digis were colored on Copic Xpress It paper and cut out. I added them to the page with my Zig glue pen.

Here are few more close ups.

I did add a few stickers from Mambi  here and there for a bit more decoration and functionality.

I completed this spread with an insert of some of my weight training.

From the Herd! ~ Photo Inspiration Challenge with CDD

Hi There! It's Monday and I hope you all are feeling refreshed after your weekend!

Today I am here to share a card I made for the Craftin Desert Divas Photo Inspiration Challenge on Facebook.

This fun bunch was colored with Copic markers. I added them to a background that I inked with some Distress ink. All of my stamped images, sentiments and die cuts are all from Craftin Desert Divas and are linked at the bottom of this post.

Happy Planner Week of 8/29 - 9/4 featuring Craftin Desert Divas

Hi There! 

I don't know about you all but I am always a tad behind when it comes to planning! This is why you are seeing my spread from last week today!! And, no, I have not started my spread for this week yet.

I may have to re-evaluate the way I do my weekly spreads. I'm thinking it may be more of a memory keeper and create as I go. Decisions, decisions....

Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this spread!! It was super fun to create and I am hooked on this whole planner thing!! I hope you like it!

Camping was my theme for the week as my husband and I were spending some time at camp with our friends so I went with it!

I used a lot of Craftin Desert Divas products on this spread and I will link those all at the bottom.

I used a combination of, stamps, dies, stickers, and washi tape to get the look I was after.

The little bear is so cute! She comes from CDD Great Outdoors stamps. I colored her with Copic markers. I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to add sparkle in a few places: nose, bow and fire. Her nose then go a coating of Glossy Accents.

The tent is included in the Great Outdoors set, as well. You can see here that I kind of ran out of space and my water bottle ended up in the camping scene!! Wasn't exactly where I wanted it but I couldn't fit it anywhere else.

Loved the way that tent turned out!

Somedays... Craftin Desert Divas Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing some Craftin Desert Divas inspiration on the CDD Blog.

I am in love with the new Your Wish stamps and just can't seem to get enough of them. These genies are so much fun to color! I just had make another card with these cuties!

Seriously, I love these genies!!

My Card card uses quite a few dies but they work so well together.

I started with watercolor cardstock and did some inking with a stencil that I created with the Outdoor Landscape Dies. I, then, used the dies and vellum to create some clouds.

I colored this little genie and her carpet with Copic Markers. A white gel pen was used for a few accents and some Glossy Accents was added to her eyes. I, also, used my Clear Wink of Stella for her clothing.  I stamped the sentiment with some Versa Fine Black ink and heat embossed my sentiment with Clear embossing powder.

I added some Shimmer Sequins for a final touch.

This is what I created...

I went with the beach theme and decorated my Happy Planner. I used several Craftin Desert Divas products to get the look I was after.

For the sand at the bottom of my pages I used CDD Outdoor Landscape Dies. Washi Tape was added across my boxes.  I, then, added images from CDD Beach Bound stamps that had been colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut them out and used my Xyron sticker maker to add the adhesive to the back of each one.

I love the new CDD Plan It Out stamps! They make it supper easy to plan and decorate my pages.

Here's a little close up of my little beach guy. Isn't he cute!!

For a bit my fun I used the CDD The Sky is the Limit Dies to make a Planner clip. The face is from one of the bees from CDD Busy Bees stamps.
