Tulle Halloween Wreath

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I thought I would share something a little different with you. My project doesn't involve paper or stamps but it does have ribbon!

This is a wreath that I made to put on my front door this year. It is not my idea but when I saw a similar wreath on the Our Best Bites blog I knew I wanted to make one. The wreath consists of a 8 inch styrofoam wreath form, black tulle, silk flowers, feathers, and ribbon with a black bird and a few spiders for a little extra creepiness. I love the way the wreath turned out. It's spooky yet classy at the same time.

Here is a closer look at the ribbon roses and embellishments.

You can find all the directions HERE.

Just a few more things to share:

Today begins the Peachy Keen Stamps/KaDoodle Bug Designs Cross Promo Facebook Page Hop.

For this card I used the following Cricut cartridges:

Create A Critter ( owl )
Mini Monsters ( hat )
Home Decor ( branch )
and
Elegant Edges ( card base and layers )

Peachy Keen Stamps PK-754  Critter Faces Medium was used for the owl's eyes.

Hoo Loves You? ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps Preview

Hi there, Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I have another preview from the newly released "Crazy For You!" stamp set made by Scrappy Moms Stamps.

For this card I used Create A Critter Cricut cartridge for the owl and hearts. For the branch I used Home Decor for the branch. My patterned paper is from Bo Bunny's Crazy Love 6x6 pad. I inked my pieces with Ranger Distress Ink  in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo.

The eyes on the owl are from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-755 Large Critter Faces. I stamped them then heat embossed them with black embossing powder. White gel pen was used to color in the whites and to accent the cuts.

Ranger Glossy Accents were added to the hearts for some shine and dimension.

Of course, my sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Crazy For You!"

Here is a look at these wonderful stamps.

These stamps are in stock and ready to ship. Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to get yours!

Thanks for stopping!

Love is in the Air

Happy Monday, my crafty friends!

It's "Challenge Me Monday" over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog! Today's challenge is a "Neglected Cartridge" challenge. Use a cartridge that you have neglected to use in the last 6 months. Well, I don't know about you but I have several that I have not used as much as I thought or not at all! I chose to use 3Birds on Parade. I purchased this cartridge several months ago and had not used it once. This card also features the new stamp set from 40:31 Creations. Can I just tell you how much I love these stamps! They stamp beautifully and so crisp! Erin has several sets that are available for preorder so make sure you check them out. You can view them HERE.

Now, on to my card:
I just love this card! In fact, my  husband commented on how cut it came out and he rarely pays attention to what I make.
Here's is what I used to make this card:
Cricut Cartridges ~ Twinkle Toes for the card base and its layers, 3 Birds On Parade for the bird and its layers, Simply Charmed for the red heart box, Home Decor for the branch, and Create A Critter for the hearts on the branch. I had those left over from another project.
40:31 Creations Stamps ~ Love, I used 2 stamps from this set, one for the sentiment and one for my heart.
Cardstock ~ Recollections and Martha Steward
Googly Eye
White Gelly Roll Pen
Pop Dots, Glue Dots, and ATG

Now it's your turn. Go over to Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and check out what all the other designers have to inspire you. Then dust off those neglected cartridges and join us in the challenge.

Happy Crafting!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #35

Good Morning!
I am so excited to share with you today! This is my first Design Team project for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Today’s Challenge Me Monday is to use a circle and the color green. I decided to make a 2-5-7-10 box. You really don’t need to use your Cricut to make this box but I decided that I wanted to cut out a window in the shape of a circle. A circle punch can be used here but since I don't have many circle punches, out came my Gypsy.
We would love for you to join us at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Pop on over and see what the other design team members have done. You will be inspired! Join us in the challenge this week. There are always great prizes to be won. Hope to see you all there!

Here are the details:

Cricut Cartridges ~ Plantin Schoolbook ~ circle, Home Décor ~ tag and frame
Cardstock ~ Colorbok and My Mind’s Eye Where the heart is
Martha Stewart pigment ink
Acetate ~ I just cut a piece from the packaging of a cartridge.
Ribbon ~ Hobby Lobby
Fiscars Punch
Sentiment ~ Fiscars
Velcro fastener
Small adhesive pearls
Foam tape
