A Not So Spooky Tag ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hello! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Do you believe that it is the first of October already? This year seems to be flying by!!

Today I am sharing the project I made for the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

The challenge this week is to create a project with a silhouette.

I decided to make a fun Halloween tag.

I thought this cute little trick or treating witch silhouette from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge would be perfect. I cut a tag from the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge and added all my elements.

My patterned paper is from DCWV Spooky Time Stack. I added a spider web border to the bottom and used my sewing machine to add some real stitching around the edge.

My sentiment is from the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps Love at First Bite set. It was stamped and punched with my 1.25" circle punch and layered on a 1.5" scallop punch. I added a charm from Recollections and some My Mind's Eye enamel dots.

I added and eyelet and then finished off my tag with some black crinkle ribbon.

The Love at First Bite is a fabulous set to add to your Halloween collection.

Here's a look at this fun set:

You can find this set and so many others at the Scrappy Moms Stamps Store.

Now check out what my design team buddies have created by going to the Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog.

We would love for you to join us in this fun challenge so create something with a silhouette and link up!

That's it for me today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

This week we are challenging you to make a project related to comfort food or fun foodie favorites. The designers have all used our SMS Mom's Diner stamp set....

Here is my card for the challenge:

For this card I created the base using my Gypsy and the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge. I welded 2 of the book cuts together.

The cupacke is from the Cricut Sweet Treats cartridge. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the heart and sprinkled it with some Martha Stewart coarse glitter.

The sentiment is from this Scrappy Moms set:

More Christmas Tags

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

You can find the PKS Fond Farewell Blog Hop HERE. This is the last day to comment for you chance to win some PKS!

Well, we are almost there! 2 more days until Christmas! Are you ready?

Today I am sharing 2 more tags.

I used Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge to cut the base of these tags.

For the Santa Tag, I stamped some snowflakes from PK-148 Snow Gifts in white pigment ink. Santa was cut from the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge. I used PK-441 Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8" stamps for his face. I ran his beard through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I, also, add Martha Stewart coarse glitter to his hat. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer!"

For the snowflake tag, I cut a darker blue piece of cardstock and ran it through my Cuttlebug with D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I used my white pigment ink to help bring out the swirls more. I cut the snowflake from Christmas Solutions Cricut cartridge. I covered it with Diamond Stickles and add a little bling.

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season.

I will be back tomorrow to share one last Christmas card.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

SPS Inspiration ~ Tags

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you are looking for the PKS Farewell Blog Hop click HERE

I am back with more inspiration from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Today I bring several Christmas tags I created with items from the "Winterland Fun" Kit.

The only thing that is not part of the kit is my solid green paper.

My daughter needed some tags for some Christmas gifts so I set to make the tags as she requested. The first tag had to be pretty. So this is what I came up with.

I cut this tag from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. The poinsettia comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I cut the petal layer 3 times, layered it, then added one of the flowers that comes in the kit. To that, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles, card candy dot, and topped it with Glossy accents. I attached this beautiful ribbon. All of the embellishments are in the kit plus so much more!

For this tag, I cut the base from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and the gift from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. Again, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles and card candy. The sentiment is from MPS Birthday Doodles stamp set (retired).  As you can see, I was mimicking the wrapping paper and I think I did a good job!

This last tag is one that matches the wrapping paper. I cut the 2 circles and the red snowflake from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. This one was really simple. All I really needed to do was pop it up and add some card candy and it was finished.

You can still purchase the "Winterland Fun" kit. Just head on over the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store and snatch it up before it is gone!

This is my last 2012 post for Shop Pumpkin Spice. I will be back for another year with Denine and all the 2013 design team girls in January. Look for some great new stuff happening here on the blog.

Have a Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Until next time...

Happy Holidays Tag with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hey there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

The new Peachy Keen Stamps were released on Monday evening and are now on sale. With the release Peachy Keen Stamps is having a challenge on the Peachy Keen Connection. This tag is for Challenge # 1. Create a Christmas Tag.

For this tag I stamped the snowman with PK-148 Snow Gifts. I colored him a bit with Copic markers and paper-pieced him. I add some Stickles to his hat and gloves. I also used the snowflakes found in this set for my background and added a few gems.

The sentiment is stamped from PKSC-11 November 2012 Stamp of the Month.

The snow was created with some chunky Martha Stewart glitter. I added some ribbon, twine, and a bell to finish things off.

This challenge is open until Sunday, November 11th and will close at 12:59 est. There is a set of Peachy Keen Stamps up for grabs so make sure you upload you tag before the deadline.

This paper is gorgeous. All my paper and envelopes are included in the kit. This is the cover of my mini album. I used a fiscars punch for the scallops, Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge to cut my tag, and some embellishment from the August kit. ( button, baker's twine, washi tape)

The Prima flowers and the brad was purschased from the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store.

Here is a close up of some of the detail.

A View from the tip of the album. This album is not my original idea. This is patterned after Laura Denison's Stack the Deck Mini Album that she posted on her blog: The Paper Trail. She makes the most creative albums and I have been a follower of her blog and Youtube channel for quite some time. You can see the post of her Stack the Deck Mini --> HERE

The following are pictures of the beautiful papers that I have used for my pages. I have yet to embellish them. I will be sharing my finished pages throughout the month of August so be sure to come back.

Here is another view of the cover.

I have yet to figure out a title for this album but I will definately share it when I have. :)

Sweet Cupcake

Hi Everyone!

I am finally able to post a picture! Yay!

I have a very sweet cupcake card to share with you. I made this for my niece, Amber, who will be turning 6 in a few weeks. She loves the colors pink and purple. She doesn't live near me so I don't get to see her often but the last time I visited her she wanted me to read a few books to her. Her favorites were Pinkalicious and Purplelicious. So that was the inspiration for this card.

I wanted to make this a fun and colorful card.

Here is what I used:
Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge
Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge
Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Sweet Somethings
DCWV Nana's Kids mat stack
Ranger Glossy Accents
Xmas Red Stickles
Swiss Dots embossing folder
D'Vine Swirl embossing folder
Baker's Twine
Button
Sakura Gelly Roll Pen

I am entering this is the following challenges:
