Just My Type ~ SPS September Blog Hop

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

The Shop Pumpkin Spice design team is hopping today and we are sharing projects with a "Work" theme to go along with this week's Pumpkin Spice Challenge.

If you are here from June's blog: Simply Elegant Paper Crafts then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog and would like to start from the beginning then head on over to Missy's blog: Quick Chick Designs.

For my work project I created card.

I used my Silhouette Cameo and the Designer's Edition Software to cut out the typewriter SVG file that I got free from Miss Kate Cuttables. It's no longer free but you can still get this file HERE.

I started with a Bazzill Kraft card base and layered it with patterned papers from My Mind's Eye On the Bright Side Two. I added a scallop border cut with my Fiscars punch.

Twinery Baker's Twine in Caribbean was added across the top of my card and it is topped with a Bazzill Paper Flower.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Quirky Quotes."

You can find many of the products I used from Shop Pumpkin Spice and the Pumpkin Spice Ebay store.

Check out the challenge on the Pumpkin Spice Blog and join in the "work" challenge!

Now it's time to head on over to Carissa's blog: Happily Ever Paper Crafter.

Have a great weekend, Everyone!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have a cute card to share that I am posting here and on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

For my card, chose some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Blink of an Eye 6x6 paper pad. I am really loving this paper pad! I've already made several projects with it. It's a good thing I have 2 pads! You can see the other projects I have created with these lovely papers HERE and HERE.

I mounted this patterned paper on some Bazzil cardstock and did some real stitching with my sewing machine. I punch a scallop Fiscars punch and added some Twinery Baker's Twine in Buttercream and Shore.

This cute little chick is a SVG file from My Scrap Chick called Shirley, Goodness, & Mercy Chicks. I popped her up on some foam tape.

For her eyes, I used PK-754 Critter Faces Medium from Peachy Keen Stamps, as well as, PK-192 Somebunny Special for my sentiment.

My Scrap Chick Design team Call

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I was so excited to read that My Scrap Chick is having a design team call.

I have been purchasing SVG files from My Scrap Chick for a few years now and I just love the designs. They are so fun and easy to work with.

I have made several projects using My Scrap Chick files and have posted quite a few recently and even have one on cue for tomorrow. :)

Here are a few of my favorites:

For this card I used the "Night Owls" file. You can find my original post HERE.

I love this card. The file is called "Trio of Bunnies." This file is no longer available or I just couldn't find it. You can find my original post HERE.

This file is a pocket card.  It's called "Cup of Cocoa and Tea Set." This card has a tag that pulls from top with a place to write your sentiment. You can find my original post HERE.

This is an easel card. I love the pretty design of this card. The file is called "Frills Easel Card." You can find my original post HERE.

This shaped card was so easy to put together. It is called "Canning Jars and Preserves." You can find my original post HERE.

As you can see, I make a lot of cards. I do, however, like to  make 3D projects, also.

Here are a few of my favorites.

This pretty acorn is from "Acorn & Pinecone Boxes." You can find my original post HERE.

I made this one more recent. This is the "School Pencil Box." It was super quick and easy to put together. You can find my original post HERE.

My style tends to be a little cute but I love to use pattern papers and embellishments to make a project my own.

If you are looking for great cutting files that are easy to put together then visit My Scrap Chick. You will be amazed at the variety of SVG files available!

Come back tomorrow to see what else I have created using a My Scrap Chick file.

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Perk Up! ~ Peachy Keen Stamps September Sneak Peek

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a peek of the newest stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps

This month's stamps are not only designed for the cooks or baker's in your life but they have so many other uses!

Here's a look at what I created:

I used an svg file from Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbon to create this K-Cup gift holder. I, then decorated it with stamps from the PKSC-21 September 2013 Stamp of the month.

Here is the side view:

This would be a great "pick-me-up" for someone!

I used kraft cardstock for the holder. The little coffee cup was randomly stamped to create a background. I used clear embossing powder and Versa Mark ink. I stamped and paper-pieced the large coffee cup for my focal point. The cup is placed on a circle and scallop circle that I cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge. I cut the shape for my sentiment from the svg file that you can purchase that coordinates with the stamps and stamped and paper-pieced it. The sentiment  and the sentiment background shape are included to the September Stamp of the Month.

I added a strip of patterned paper and a scallop border and wrapped some May Arts Jute round it. I finished it off with a bow and button.

All my patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye "In a Blink of an Eye" collection.

Now hurry over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see even more peeks of this month's stamps!

And don't for get about the release party on Thursday, September 5th, over that the Peachy Keen Connection.

The stamps will be available for purchase from Peachy Keen Stamps following the party!!

I have plenty to share with you this week so be on the look out!

Until next time...

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a cute little card for the newest Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

This week's challenge is "Gone Buggy."

Here is what I have created:

For my card today I used a file from My Scrap Chick called Garden Bug Boxes and Cards. I chose to do the shaped card from the file but the boxes are really cute, too!

I used paper from Echo Park's "Hello Summer" collection and some Swiss-dotted paper from Bazzill.

I added a ribbon and created a tag for my sentiment. This sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Gone Buggy!" set.

Look at all the sentiments that are included with this set:

Isn't it fun!

You can purchase this set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Life's Short ~ Peachy Keen Stamps September Sneak Peek

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a peek at the newest stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps that will be released this Thursday evening!

This month's stamps are designed with a kitchen / baking theme and they are so fun! Kathy never disappoints!

For this card I used one of the add-on sets that coordinate with the Stamp of the Month. This image is from PK-1336 Retro Fridge. I stamped and paper-pieced it.

My sentiment comes from 2 different sets. "Life's Short" is from another add-on set PK-1337 In the Kitchen and "Chill Out" is from an older set PK-115 Let's Ketchup.

The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye "Blink of an Eye" collection. I am really loving is paper!!

I decided it would be fun to add some real stitching this time so I got my sewing machine out and used it for my card. I love it!

If you head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog you will get an eyeful of this fun release!

The stamps will be available for purchase from Peachy Keen Stamps right after the release party Thursday, September 5th.

The party is over on the Peachy Keen Connection this Thursday at 7:00 PM est. It is filled with fun challenges, games, and prizes. I hope you will join us!
