This is what I created:

For this card I started by masking off the top and bottom portion of my whate cardstock base. I chose Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and went over the exposed section lightly. I, then, added a Heidi Swap stencil on top of my inked section and inked it again with more Picked Raspberry ink.

I added the hello from the Pocket Pieces Hello Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp set. The finishing touch is some Craftin desert Divas Sequins. I picked out the black from the Couture Mix and the little flowers from the Pizzaz Mix.

I hope you will join in the fun and link up your Black and White with Splash of Color project! I can't wait to see what you create!

Hello Friend ~ Craftin Desert Divas Daily Post

Happy Sunday, Friends!

It's my day to share a project on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog.

Today I am sharing a cute card featuring some animal friends.

I thought it would be so fun to stack a few CDD animal stamps and make a friendship card. I started my stack of animals with the cute little elephant from It's All About Zoo and stamped my little panda from Panda Pals next, Masking those two allowed me to add the leopard from the mini stamp Spots. These animals were all colored with Copic markers, then I masked them again so that I could ink up my background with some Distress Inks.

I created a template using the Outdoor Landscape Dies and the Stitched Scallop Dies. (Tip: die cut some acetate or plastic to create your template or mask with these dies. You will be able to use them over and over again!)

After my inking was complete, I die cut the panel using the Fancy Frames Die. If there was ever a die set that gets used a lot, that one is it! I highly recommend it!

I added a sentiment from CDD Happy Thoughts stamp set and called it finished!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and it caused you to smile for a moment!

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see Day 1 of CDD April Release! It's a good one!!

This is the photo that is being used for inspiration.

This is what I created:

For this card I started by inking up a piece of cardstock with Distress Inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Aged Mahogany, and Peacock Feathers. Once I had it shaded just so, I used CDD Fancy Frame Dies to cut out my background. I stamped a few hearts from Wildly Cute mini stamp and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

I stamped the cute little mouse from CDD Sweet Kisses stamps and colored her with Copic Markers. The image was cut using a die from the Pocket Pieces Hi Dies set. My sentiments are from the Sweet Kisses stamp set. Again, I heat embossed the Sweet sentiment in gold embossing ink. I finished the card off with some gold thread.
I hope you will join in the fun and link up your photo inspiration project!

Magical Birthday Wishes ~ with Craftin Desert Divas

Hi There!

It's my day to post on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog. This is what I am sharing.

Today I wanted to share a little inspiration using the new CDD Magical Wishes stamp set.

The images on this set are just adorable and I couldn't wait to ink up this fairy so I could color her!

I chose my colors based off of this Doodle Bug Designs paper pack called Polar Pals. I loved the color combo! Unfortunately, it is no longer available in the CDD shop but you can find many other Doodle Bug Designs paper packs HERE.

I used CDD Fancy Frame Dies for the base of my card. I stamped my image on some Copic friendly paper and cut out my shape with the CDD Fancy Stitched Labels Dies.

Here is a little close up of this adorable fairy.

As I mentioned I colored her with Copic markers. It's hard to see but I added some Clear Wink of Stella to her wings for added sparkle, as well as, some white gel pen accents here and there.

I added some flowers from CDD Busy Bees Stamps, color them with Copic Markers, added some Wink of Stella to the centers. I finished the card off with some ribbon and some Doodle Bug Designs Sprinkles.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Remember there is Free Shipping on orders of $10 or more in the CDD Shop until 3/16!!

Here is what I created..

For my Lots of Layers I created a shaker card featuring The new CDD Magical Wishes Stamp set.

I used my CDD Fancy Frame Dies to cutout my layers and inked it all with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Spun Sugar.

Before inking the background I heat embossed the swirly stars with some sparkle embossing powder.

I colored my unicorn with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers in some bright pinks and purples and stamped my sentiment on a circle I cut using the CDD Stitched in Circles Dies.  My shaker is filled with CDD Pizzazz and Fairy Dust Sequins and I threw in a little glitter for more sparkle.

My outside frame is also glittered up!

I hope you will join in the fun and link up your Lots of Layers project!
