Sending Get Well Wishes ~ with Craftin Desert Divas

Happy Friday, Everyone! Today I am sharing a little Craftin Desert Divas inspiration on the Craftin Desert Diva Blog.

The last release was filled with beautiful flowers and I wanted to make one more project using them.

I colored the beautiful flowers from CDD Flowers In Bloom stamps with Copic markers. I did a lot of masking to get them arranged how I wanted them. I stamped a few extra and popped them up with some foam tape.

I added these to my background that had been cut with CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I used a piece of corrugated kraft paper and splattered it with some Mister Huey's Color Mist.

My sentiment is from CDD Wishful Thoughts stamps and stamped on vellum. This is a fabulous set of sentiments! I added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.

This is what I created:

Shaker cards are so fun!! I chose some Doodle Bug Design paper and everything came together from there. I used Craftin Desert Divas Banner Dies and Stitched in Circles dies to create this shaker.

The shaker was filled with CDD Trick or Treat Sequins. The colors matched perfectly with this paper.

I colored an image from CDD Monster Mania using Copic markers. A little Glossy Accents was added to his eyes and Clear wink of Stella to his spots.

Lastly I used the new Wishful Thoughts Word Dies and a sentiment from CDD Bring on the Cake stamps and my card was complete.

Here's what I've created for you...

For my card, I used the new Botanical Layers Stamps and the new Wishful Thoughts Stamps.

I started with a black cardstock panel that was die cut with CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I stamped the outline stamp from Botanical Layers and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. My pink flowers were stamped with all the layers using Momento Dye Ink. I added a bit of Copic coloring to give the flowers a little more depth. After fussy cutting them out I added some clear glitter to the edges.

I used the Fancy Frames Dies to die cut a piece of pink vellum and stamped a sentiment from the new Wishful Thoughts Stamps in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I used CDD Sequins to finish off my card.

Pretty Botanicals ~ Craftin Desert Divas April Sneak Peek Day 3

Hey there! I am back with another sneak peek for Craftin Desert Divas April Release!

The featured stamp set for today is called Botanical Layers.

This set is just what it says layers. 

Here is the card I created:

I started by using a Heidi Swap stencil to ink my background. I stamped my images with Momento ink in several different colors. I decided not to use all the layers but I did do quite a bit of masking.

I stamped a few flowers more than once to give my card some dimension.

Sorry... Peas Forgive Me ~ Craftin Desert Divas April Release Sneak Peek

Hi there! I hope you all are having a good week so far!

Today is the second day of Craftin Desert Divas April Sneak Peeks and I wanted to share a card I made with today's featured set.

We are having a Facebook Hop for our sneak peeks so you may want to go check out what all the designers have created and get a chance for a prize.

Today's featured sets are Wishful Thoughts Stamps and Wishful Thoughts Dies.

I used them to create my card, along with an older CDD stamp set called Garden Cuties.

You are getting an another sneak peek of something we will be showcasing later this week. Wink...

I love this new set of sentiments and dies. I cut the word Sorry out  twice using the new dies and layered them together. I wanted the brown to peek through so I off-set them a bit. There are 3 total in the Wishful Thoughts Dies. 

The "I forgot" sentiment is from the new Wishful Thoughts stamp set. There are a lot of great sentiments in this set that compliment the dies nicely.

I little sweet pea is from CDD Garden Cuties and was colored with Copic markers.

I used the Pocket Pieces Hello Dies to create a border for my little guy to rest. The sentiment here is from the Garden Cuties stamp set.

I splattered a little Distress Paint on my background for a bit of added interest.

This is what I created:

For this card I started by masking off the top and bottom portion of my whate cardstock base. I chose Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and went over the exposed section lightly. I, then, added a Heidi Swap stencil on top of my inked section and inked it again with more Picked Raspberry ink.

I added the hello from the Pocket Pieces Hello Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp set. The finishing touch is some Craftin desert Divas Sequins. I picked out the black from the Couture Mix and the little flowers from the Pizzaz Mix.

Hello Friend ~ Craftin Desert Divas Daily Post

Happy Sunday, Friends!

It's my day to share a project on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog.

Today I am sharing a cute card featuring some animal friends.

I thought it would be so fun to stack a few CDD animal stamps and make a friendship card. I started my stack of animals with the cute little elephant from It's All About Zoo and stamped my little panda from Panda Pals next, Masking those two allowed me to add the leopard from the mini stamp Spots. These animals were all colored with Copic markers, then I masked them again so that I could ink up my background with some Distress Inks.

 I created a template using the Outdoor Landscape Dies and the Stitched Scallop Dies. (Tip: die cut some acetate or plastic to create your template or mask with these dies. You will be able to use them over and over again!)

After my inking was complete, I die cut the panel using the Fancy Frames Die. If there was ever a die set that gets used a lot, that one is it! I highly recommend it!

I added a sentiment from CDD Happy Thoughts stamp set and called it finished!
