Smile ~ KaDoodle Bug Design Charmkin Cutie

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a newly release cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

Melissa has done it again! She has created a new group of files that are just darling and named them Charmkin Cuties.

My card features the Charmkin Cuties - Tooth Fairy.

Isn't she cute! I used the Fancy Frames Dies from Craftin Desert Divas to create the base of my card. My tooth fairy was cut with my Cameo. I layered her together and glittered her up!

Look at those eyes!! I added a bit of  Clear Wink of Stella to the eyes and put some Ranger Glossy Accents on top.

My sentiment and tag is from My Craft Spot (no longer available).

You can check out all the new Charmkin Cuties HERE. The best part is that they are on sale!!

Let Us Give Thanks ~ PKS Face Day

Hi there! Today I am the featured designer on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

It's Face Day and I just love using Peachy Keen Stamps faces!

Today I am sharing a fun project that would be perfect to give to your guests for Thanksgiving.

I made these cute treat boxes that I found at My Scrap Chick. I used the following files:

These files come with face parts but I just had to Peachify them.

I resized that treat boxes to make them smaller and stamped them with PK-1321 In the Garden Faces 1 1/8. I colored in the eyes with my white gem pen and added a bit of color with Copic markers.

Once that boxes were put together I added a sentiment from PKSC-22 October 2013 that I added to the pretty scalloped tags I made using the Tiny Doilies dies from My Craft Spot.

These would look great at each person's place setting on Thanksgiving day.

Be sure to head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog for more inspiration!

I hope you enjoyed my Peachy project!

Thanks for stopping by!

So Very Thankful ~ My Craft Spot Inspiration

Hi there! Today I am sharing some inspiration on the My Craft Spot Blog.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I have been thinking about how thankful I am for all that the Lord has given me. So today I thought I would share a little thankful gift card set I created using My Craft Spot products.

This little box and note cards are a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Sunflower Greetings. This is a great set as you can personalize it just the way you want. I  adjusted the size so that my note cards measured 3" x 3.25". I chose paper's from My Mind's Eye Collectable - Remarkable pad. The front of my box is decorated with the Flowers - Daisy dies from My Craft Spot. I added some Solid Red Baker's Twine ( available at My Craft Spot ) and tied a little bow.

My note cards also feature the Flowers - Daisy die and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Fall Leaves stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment in opaque white embossing powder.

To wrap my gift set, I used a small brow lunch bag and stamped it with another sentiment from the Fall Leaves set. Lastly, I added a tag embossed with yet, another sentiment from that same set. The tag is tied on with some more Solid Red Baker's Twine.

Make sure to visit the My Craft Spot blog everyday for inspiration!

I hope you were inspired today to used your My Craft Spot products.

Counting Blessings ~ My Craft Spot Monday Challenge

Hi There! I am here to share with you the card I created for My Craft Spot's Monday Challenge.

This week's challenge is Sequins!

I love sequins and think they are so fun!

I had this fun paper sitting on my craft desk for a few weeks now and finally used it. My designer paper is from Doodlebug's Friendly Forrest. It is so fun and I love the colors!

Since the challenge is sequins I knew I wanted to make a shaker card.

I used My Craft Spot's Scrapping Life Cards metal dies to create my shaker. I stamped the inside with My Craft Spot's Happy Thanksgiving stamp set using Momento Rick Cocoa ink and Color Box Purple pigment ink. I filled my shaker with My Craft Spot's Orange Creamsicle, Perfectly Purple, Chocolate Sundae, and Pumpkin sequins.

I added this cute little fox from the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. The eyes were stamped from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-640 Princess Face Assortment. I finished the card off with some purple ribbon I had in my stash and a few more sequins.

We would love for you to join us in the challenge this week. Head on over to My Craft Spot to check out the guidelines and see what the other designer's have created.

Thanks for joining me today!

For my card, I started with a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Poinsettia Christmas Card. It really is hard to mess this card up. The Poinsettia is so pretty.

I chose to cut out the flower in patterned paper from an old K&Company Christmas paper pad. The layers were inked and rolled to create some dimension.

My sentiment is from the new Christmas Chalkboard Sentiments. I added a few gems and the card was finished.

The new stamps and SVGs will be available for purchase on Saturday from the My Craft Spot Store.

My Craft Spot Christmas Release Party Day 3

Hi There! I am back with Day 3 of  My Craft Spot's sneak peek!

Today we are giving you a peek at MCS Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set.

I have a really cute project to share!

I first started with this cute Reindeer Belly Box from My Scrap Chick

I cut it too size and assembled it as is except that I didn't use the feet that is included in the file not did I use the eyes. Instead, I created a layer for the front and side of the box and I used Peachy Keen Stamps  PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4 inch faces for the reindeer's eyes. I colored them in with my white jelly roll pen and Copic markers. For his nose I added some Xmas Red Stickles.

For a fun touch I added a string of lights to his antlers. I added tags made from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags dies and stamped them with My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set. My Craft Spot has some new twine colors that are now available for purchase. I used the new Solid Green, Red Twist, and Green Twist Baker's Twine.

All the new stamps and SVG's will be available for purchase on Saturday.

Now be sure to head on over to the My Craft Spot blog to see more projects featuring this set and while you are there leave a comment to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the My Craft Spot Store!

My Craft Spot Christmas Release Party Day 2

Hi there! I am back with another sneak peek of My Craft Spot's Christmas Release.

Today we are featuring the new stamp set called O Holy Night.

I love the way this card came out!

I started with with a blue background in which I cut my star using a file I found in the Silhouette store. This created a window.

Next I took a piece of yellow cardstock and cut it the same size of my blue background paper and filled in the shape of my star with some sequins from My Craft Spot's Trick or Treat sequin mix.

Before adhering my background to my yellow I used the Fancy Edges - Halloween dies to create some faux stitching. It is subtle but it is there! I still felt that my card needed something so I ran my blue cardstock through my Big Shot with the Sizzix Stars and Swirls embossing folder. It was just the right touch I was looking for!

I heat embossed my sentiment from the new O Holy Night stamp set to a piece of vellum. I tied some Solid Yellow Baker's Twine ( Now available at My Craft Spot) around my vellum and added a bow and button.

Kimberly is giving away a $10.00 gift certificate everyday this week so make sure to head on over to the My Craft Spot blog and leave a comment.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.

Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek. I cannot wait to show you what I've created!

How About Some Pumpkin Juice!

Hi There! Today I am sharing a fun little project for the new challenge over at My Craft Spot.

The challenge this week is "Too Cute to Spook!"

I think this little pumpkin milk bottle falls right in line for the challenge.

I found this little milk bottle in Target's Dollar Spot and I knew right away what I was going to do with it. If I had saved one of the bottles from my daughter's coffee drinks I would not have bought these and just recycled her's. She now knows to save me a few! :)

To create my pumpkin juice I painted the outside of the bottle with my orange paint. I found some paint that is made for surfaces like glass and metal. I cut the pumpkins face out of vinyl and adhered it to the front of the bottle.

My lid was painted with green paint. After it dried, I wrapped some Peapod Baker's Twine around and added a tag. The tag was created with a die from My Craft Spot's Halloween Shapes dies and stamped with a sentiment from My Craft Spot's Halloween Potions stamp set.

I used 2 circle punches adhered together for the top of the lid and stamped them with a sentiment from My Craft Spot's Banner Sentiments - Fall set.

I hope you will take the time to play in the challenge over at My Craft Spot.

We would love to see your cute Halloween projects!

Head on over to My Craft Spot for more inspiration and all the challenge guidelines.

Frankly, You're Sweet!

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a quick and easy treat box that you can create for all the little goblins in your life!

This fun box is a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Frankenstein Treat Belly Box. I pretty much put him together as is except I created a layer for the front. I love the treat boxes that My Scrap Chick has to offer! There are so many to choose from. You can check some of them HERE.

I added some new Baker's Twine that will be available soon from My Craft Spot. I love me some Baker's Twine! Psst... Make sure you check out the clearance section in the Baker's Twine section for a sweet deal!  The button is from my stash. To finish off my treat box, I added a sentiment from My Craft Spot's Banner Sentiments - Fall set. I decided to stack the sentiment instead of stamping as is. There is so many fun products that can be found in the My Craft Spot Shop! Make sure you check it out!

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear from you!

Fabulous Birthday ~ My Craft Spot Design Post

Hi There! It's my day to post on the My Craft Spot Blog and this what I am sharing.

I made a super quick card for my sister's birthday. I wanted to make her a card but I didn't have a lot of time to get it together.  That's what I love about using stamps and dies from My Craft Spot. They make it so easy to put something fabulous together!

To create this card you will need the following:

Pretty patterned paper - I used Echo Parks For the Record 2
My Craft Spot Washi Tape Dies
My Craft Spot Build A Birthday stamp set
My Craft Spot Natural Jute String
Button

This is a pretty easy card to put together. I used the Washi Tape dies to cut some strips from my patterned paper. The tag was created by tracing a Kraft tag I had on hand on some of my patterned paper. I stamped the tag with my sentiment and adhered it to the front of my card. I then layered my washi tape papers on top of the tag. I added a jute bow and button.

My Craft Spot is have a guest designer call! You can view all the details HERE.

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

Halloween Chalk Art ~ My Craft Spot Challenge

Hi there! I am back with another card today. If you would like to see my PKS post just scroll down.

My card featured here is for My Crafts Spot's Monday challenge.

This week's challenge is to make something using Chalk Art.

This was a fun card to make and all I used were My Craft Spot stamps and dies.

To get the chalkboard look I stamped the middle panel with Chalkboard Sentiments - Fall in Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some chalk smudges with some Hero Arts ink. The faux stitching on the top and bottom edge was created by using a die from My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges - Halloween and from the same set I made my spider web border. My spider web border is actually wax paper. I was using the wax paper with my die so that it would help remove all the little paper tags from the die but I loved the look so much that I used it.

The skull and cross bones, ghost, and potion bottle are all from the Halloween Shapes dies. I added a sentiment from Halloween Potions to my potion bottle.

I added some Black Jute and Trick or Treat Sequins.

This was a fun card to put together!

To find all the details for this challenge please head on over to My Craft Spot.
