Excellent! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

For Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge we are going Retro!

What a fun challenge!

For my card I used a sentiment from the newly released Scrappy Moms Stamps "Blast from the Past!" This particular sentiment reminded my of the 80's and I just had to use it.

I used the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge and did a little paper piecing to get the pieces I wanted to use. I cut her face, arms, and legs out of white then used my Copics to color her skin. Her face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-112 Cherub Faces Assortment.

I placed my girl on a frame that was cut from the Stretch Your Imaginations Cricut cartridge. This is an oldie but a goodie!

Other  items used:

Echo Park Hello Summer
The Twinery Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine
Button from my stash
Fiscars Edge Punch
White Gel Pen
Fruit Punch Stickles
Cotton Candy Stickles

Check out all the sentiments that are included in "Blast from the Past!"

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out what the other designers have created then join us in this Retro challenge!

Thanks for stopping and checking out my projects!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

You're the Star... ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today's Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps is to use the Rock Princess Cricut Cartridge. If you don't have this cartridge, no worries, you can use a simular cut from another cartridge or an svg.

For my card I used the Rock Princess cartridge. I sized my girl at 4 inches. I used K&Company Confetti mat stack for all of my patterned paper.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Hooray for Birthdays" set. I punched my sentiment with  a  1 1/2 inch circle punch and matted it on a 1 3/4 inch scalloped punch.

The girl's face is stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps PK-560 Dolly Dumplins Face Assortment.

Other items used:
white gel pen
pink sharpie for the lips
ribbon from my stash
foam tape
atg

Did you hear?
Scrappy Moms Stamps is now carrying Action Wobbles!

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to check them out and to see what the design team had put together to inspire you!

Until next time...

Happy Crafting!

Make Some Music ~ FCCB Challenge Me Monday

Hello and Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's Monday and time for another challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is titled, "Make Some Music." The challenge is to make a project with an instrument or with music notes on it.

I made a card that is a little different for me. I've had the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge sitting on my craft table for quite some time and thought I would give it a try. I am not sure I am not super excited about this one but I have teenage girls and thought it might come in handy.

Here are the details:
Rock Princess Cricut Cartridge ~ rocker chick
Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite ~ card base welded in my Gypsy, music notes
Whimsy Stamps ~ sentiment
My Craft Spot Crinkle Ribbon ~ Midnight Black
Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Edge Scissors ~ used on my red strip
Misc. ~ white and black gel pen, black ink, button, foam tape, atg, hot glue gun

For more inspiration be sure to visit Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see what my fellow design team member have for us today.

Come back tomorrow for my first official posting as a Scrappy Moms Stamps designer!

Happy Crafting!!
