Tonight I am sharing another peek at Peachy Keen Stamps August release.

For today's card, I used another kitty.

I used the kitty head, face,paws, and sentiment are from PKSC-20 August 2013 Stamp of the Month. I colored my kitty with my Copics and added Glossy Accents to her eyes.

The card base was stamped with PK-188 Brick Wall Background. The window and the curtains are files that I purchase from the Silhouette Store. I thought the patterned papers from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing "Lavender" collection would make pretty wallpaper and curtains. Inked everything with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The card was still lacking something so I decided to add a branch from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.

For the inside of the card I used a shape from Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge and stamped it with a sentiment for PKSC-20 August 2013 and a sentiment from PK-1334 Howling Puppy. The pay is from 

PK-1332 Cat Background.

No Place Like Home ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps April Release

Happy Saturday, Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

 

Today I am sharing a card that I created with the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps release.

 

 

For this card, I used an image from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.  I thought it worked perfectly with this Scrappy Moms Stamps sentiment. The sentiment is from the "That's Entertainment!" set.

 

 

This is a fun set with lots of quotes from movies and tv shows that I am sure many of us recognize.

 

I cut my image quite large and then cut the main image again but this time partly off the mat so it wouldn't cut the whole thing. I wanted to pop the roof on the birdhouse so I needed to create that layer since it did not have a seperate piece for the roof. For a little texture, I used the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder.

 

All my patterned paper is from Echo Park's "Sweet Day" 6x6 paper pad. I added a button from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two "Blush" collection and baker's twine from My Mind's Eye "Happy Go Lucky "Together" twine.

 

A few accents were added with my white gel pen and everything was inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

Snow Sweet Home ~ PKS Sneak Peek Day 1

Here we are the start of a new month and the Peachy Peeks begin!

 

I know I say it every month but you are going to LOVE this month's Peachy Keen Stamps release! Kathy has been busy and has created so many new stamps!

 

The card I am showing you today was actually seen in the Peachy Picks Newsletter that some of you may have seen yesterday.

 

 

I used the December Peachy Picks Kit and the brand new PK-150 Snow Sweet Snow stamps.

 

I paper pieced the hat and colored the snow family with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment on a banner that I cut from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge. The oval and scallop were cut from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge. I ran the oval through my Cuttlebug using the Snowflakes embossing folder. For a little sparkle I spray it with some Glimmer Mist in Iredescent Gold..

A Season For Happiness! ~ SPS December Blog Hop

Today the Shop Pumpkin Spice design team is hopping.

 

You are in for a real treat! Why? Well, each designer is being featured in the month of December and we are all using the new December Kit "Wonderland Fun!". This kit is chock full of fabulous goodies!

For my project I created this adorable card!

 

 

Doesn't my little guy look like he is having a fabulous time! I totally love the way this card came out!

 

All my designer paper and embellishments are in the "Wonderland Fun!" December Kit. The kit contains not one, but two 6x6 paper pads! They are both wonderful! I used the Carta Bella's "Winter Fun" for this card.

 

My little sled rider was cut from the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge. I added Frosted Lace Stickles (included in the Dec. Kit) to his hat and a fun little pom pom I had in my stash. For some shine, I added some Glossy Accents (included in the Dec. Kit) to his boots. I used my Gypsy to hide his face so I could stamp this fun face on him. (PK-145) I used the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder on his sleigh. I cut the background shape from Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge. I added a layer of snow that I had embossing with D'Vine Swirls. After I embossed it I added Frosted Lace Stickles to it. The snowflake was cut from the Christmas Solutions Cricut cartridge. I cut it twice and layered them together for some faux chipboard. To this I added I added, you guessed it, Frosted Lace Stickles and a brad (included in the kit).

 

For the sentiment, I cut a tag from the Carta Bell paper. I inked it and added this baker's twine bow.

Christmas Card Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the Christmas Card Blog Hop! This is my first hop and I am very excited that you came for a visit. I have two cards that I would like to share with you today. The first card is made with a cute little mouse stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. These mice are just too cute! It is a Stampabilities House Mouse stamp called "Cuddly and Warm."

Here is a close up to see the sparkle.

I used Prisma Colored Pencils and odorless Mineral Spirits to color in my little mouse scene. I used Accent Essentials for the marquee shape. The Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder was used for the background. Stardust Stickles for a little sparkle on the snow and the hats. Added some ribbon and snowflake brad to finish off this card. The sentiment if from Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes set.

My next card is made from Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge. The sentiment is also from Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes and it is what inspired this card.

Here is a close up to see the sparkle. :)

I used Winter Frolic for the tree and Create A Critter for the hearts. The background paper is from K&Company Pepermint Twist Stack. I trimmed the star from the tree and added a heart button threaded with some embroidery floss. A white gelly roll pen was used for stitching. The tree was embossed with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I added Christmas Red Stickles to the hearts and Cotton Candy Stickles to the ornaments. This was a simple card but I really like how it came out.

Challenge Me Monday #38

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you all are recovering from eating too much turkey and pumpkin pie! I had a great time with my friends and family.  Can't wait to do it again.

Today's Challenge Me Monday #38 over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is to make a project using ribbon and, as always, there needs to be a Cricut cut. Here is my project:

I made this card for my sister-in-law. She was just recently inthe hospital. I think it is just lovely. This is one of my favorite colors to work with.
