Just For Dad ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps! The theme this week is "Father's Day."

I took the opportunity to create a card for my father-in-law. He has always been a handy guy so I knew this would be perfect for him.

I used the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Alphabet Soup" along with the "Alphabet Die" and wood grain stamp. I masked off the numbers on the stamps because I wanted my pieces to look like wood instead of Scrabble pieces.

The tool belt and tools come from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. I embossed my background with the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate embossing folder. I added some brads that I've had in my stash forever.

Check out Scrappy Moms Stamps to see what the other wonderfully talented girls have created for your inspiration. Join us! We would love to see what you create for Father's Day!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!

A Little Birdie... ~ Peachy Peek #2

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Have you seen all the Peachy Peeks? If you haven't hurry over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to get a look of all the peeks of the new Stamp of the Month and add-on sets. These are the cutest stamps and you are going to LOVE them.

I created this card with the new June Stamp of the Month.

The little bird and birdbath are both part of the Stamp of the Month. I used my Copic markers to color the images and added some doodling with a gel pen.

I used my Cricut Expression and A Child's Year cartridge to cut the oval and scallop tag. The patterned paper is from  DCWV Nana's Kitchen. With the addition of bling, ribbon, and button the card was finished.

Tuesday, June 5th, 7pm EST is the June Release Party on the Peachy Connection. There will be challenges and Peachies to win! I hope to see you there.

Come back tomorrow for a new Scrappy Moms Stamps challenge.

Until then...

A Peachy Peek!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

( If you are looking for the Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop, scroll down )

I am so excited to share this Peachy Peek! All of the designers have been busy creating with the new June Stamp of the Month and over the next few days you will be seeing peeks of this adorable set on the Peachy Keen Blog.

I have to say that this may be my favorite set so far. I know, I know! I say that every month! How can I not say this every month! Kathy draws the cutests images and faces!

Isn't this little fairy the cutest!! I couldn't wait to color her with my Copics. I used My Mind's Eye "Where the Heart Is" designer papers and embellished with flowers from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge. I added some Diamond Stickles to my fairy and flowers. The sentiment also comes with the June Stamp of the Month. I stamped the first part of the sentiment on the front of the card and the second part on the inside.

Don't you just love it!

Make sure to check out the Peachy Keen Blog for more sneak peeks along with all the designers' blogs. I know you are going to love this set and all of the add ons.

The release party is scheduled for June 5th on the Peachy Keen Connection site. Join us for challenges and a chance to win some Peachy goodness.

Thanks for stopping!

Sending Love ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

The designers for Shop Pumpkin Spice is having a Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is to create a sympathy card. We know it's a difficult task and we wanted to help you all a little.

You should have gotten here from Lezlye's blog: Ink and Paper Creations. If you just happened upon my blog then you will want to start from the beginning at the Pumpkin Spice Blog so as to not miss a thing.

I have to say that I have not had to make many sympathy cards so it took me some time to figure out what I wanted to do.

When I think of sympathy cards I think of soft soothing colors. That's why I turned to My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose "Hazel" 6x6 paper pad. This pad is filled with beautiful prints in soft colors. All the printed card stock is from this pad.

I used a sentiment from the new My Pink Stamper Handle with Care set. I added some ribbon from my stash and topped it off with a brad from My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink decorative brads.

Other items used:
Cricut Expression
A Child's Year Cartridge ~ scalloped oval tag
Cindy Loo ~ Flower
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Tea Dye

Thank you for stopping! Now it's time to head on over to Lenae's blog: Sugargem Crafts.

BEE Happy ~ PKS Challenge Just Cards

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's hard to believe I haven't posted anything for a whole week. BUT, I have been busy and the next few days I have some fun things to show you.

Well, It Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.

THE CHALLENGE:

Create a card using the theme provided.

We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!

Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 6/6 - 11:59 pm EST

Here is what I created for you!

This card was super fun to create!

I don't know if you can see it here but there is some Glimmer Mist present!

Here is the process I went through. I took MSS- BK-22 Honeycomb background stamp and heat embossed white card stock with clear embossing powder. I,  then, inked the background with Ranger Distress Ink in Wild Honey. This was then sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iredescent Gold. I, also, misted my cloud background which was stamped with PK-107 Cloudy Day.

The scalloped shape was cut using my Cricut Expression and A Child's Year cartridge. The bees and hive are from Create A Critter. All my cuts and edges were inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I added a little Yellow Stickles to the hear ton the hive and embellished my cuts with a white gel pen.

The faces on the bees come from PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment. These just make me smile! I used Ranger Glossy Accents for their eyes. It gives a little dimension and shine.

For my sentiment I used the letter stickers that came in the May 2012 Peachy Picks kit.

I finished the card with some ribbon from my stash and that was it!

You have a week to create something and link it up over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.

Head on over to see what my fabulous fellow designers have created to inspire you!

I'll see you tomorrow with a sneak peek of the June Stamps of the Month. I'm telling you now, I think these are my favorite to date! Kathy does an amazing job!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!
