Sunshine and Happiness ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card that I created with the newest release from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

For my card I used a cut from the Cricut Country Life cartridge. I choose my patterned paper from Heidi Grace "Sunshowers" 6x6 paper pad that I had purchased from Jo Ann Fabrics. I love the patterns in this paper pad.

I inked all my edges with Ranger Distress Ink in Teas Dye, added some Summer Sun Satin sequins I purchased from Neat & Tangled, and finished it off with some ribbon from my stash.

I added a little doodling for a fun look.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Flower Power! set.

You can find all of Scrappy Moms Stamps HERE.

The new stamps are in stock and ready to ship. Hurry and get yours!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Sweet as you are! ~ PKS Inspiration!

Hi Peachies!Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's my turn to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a cute gift bag to share.
I love buying plain kraft bags and decorating them to make them look extra special for the recipient. Peachifiying them is always fun!

I love Peachy Keen Stamps faces! My cherries were on the small size but the faces from PK-123 Darren and Laura Lee worked perfectly. The faces are looking at each other, isn't that just too cute!

I chose a sentiment from PK-106 With a Cherry on Top! This set has a lot of interchangeable sentiments that give you a lot of options.

Other items used:

Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge
Country Life cartridge
My Mind's Eye "Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl"
My Mind's Eye "Fine and Dandy Girl"
Ranger Glossy Accents
Ranger Distress Ink "Tea Dye"

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Until next time...

You Brighten My Day! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hello, Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!
Today I get to share with you my first official Scrappy Moms Stamps project! Totally excited about that!! :)
It's Terrific Tuesday Challenge time at Scrappy Moms Stamps. The challenge is to use any cut from Country Life Cricut Cartridge. Don't have that cartridge? Don't worry! You can use any similar cut from another cartridge or SVG. Try to incorporate a SMS somewhere on the project if you have them but it is not required. We just want you to have fun.
I made a card that could be used to encourage or thank someone. I really love the way it came out. Let me show you...

The cut used is from page 72 of the Country Life handbook. As I was planning the card out in my Gypsy I decided that I didn't want to use all the layers.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, "Quirky Quotes." It works beautifully with this image.

The designer paper I used is from My Mind's Eye, Stella and Rose Gertie Papers. It is gorgeous. I bought a 6 x 6 paper pad from ShopPumpkinSpice. They have some of the best prices for designer paper and the shipping isn't bad either!

All of my cuts were inked with Ranger distress ink.

I wanted my ribbon to look a little like fluffy clouds so I used Crinkle Ribbon in Snow White and gathered it. I added a button with some DMC floss to finish it off. The Crinkle Ribbon can be purchased from My Craft Spot. Kimberly's selection of colors is gorgeous!

That's my project for today! Make sure to click the button below to go to Scrappy Moms Stamps and see what my fabulous design team sisters have for your inspiration. They always inspire me!

Mums The Word

Happy Monday!

It's time for another challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week "Challenge Me Monday" is Moms the Word. Use the word mom, mother, mum on a project. This is a great challenge to get a head start on your Mother's Day cards. After all, Mother's Day is May 8th. I definately took the opportunity to make a card for my mother-in-law.

I love making shaped cards and decided that the pitcher with flowers from Country Life would make a pretty card. Here is another pic from a different angle.

I love to add a little decorative paper inside to give it a finished look. I cut the flowers twice and pop-dotted them for a little added dimension. I also made faux chipbord letters. I cut 2 layers out of cereal boxes and one layer out of patterned paper. I guess my card would be considered a faux shaped card, too. I just cut 2 shadow layers and scored one at the top. I, then, use my atg on the top portion of the scroed layer and adhere both layers together. I really like this method because you don't get flattened shapes.

Here is what was used:
Country Life Cricut cartridge ~ All cuts
DCWV Rustic Stack
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Tea Dye
Recollection Gems
Hemp
White Gelly Roll Pen

Please go check out all the fantabulous creations that my fellow design team members have for you over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. You are sure to be inspired.

Join us in creating this week. I can't wait to see what you all do!

Happy Crafting!

To make this banner I used the following:
Chipboard i.e. cereal boxes

Hello Kitty Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's  Hello Kitty Blog Hop. If you are here from the super talented Elsa's blog Cricutlver then you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go directly to the Flaunt It Fridays blog. For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Hello Kitty with Airplane on Page 65 from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cart. I am one of the designers that does not own that cart but I was able to use other carts to create a Hello Kitty look-alike.
I made a treat bag topper. To make my Hello Kitty look-alike I used Create A Critter for the kitty and New Arrival for the airplane. I used my Gypsy to "hide" the kitty face and the windows on the airplane. I Peachy Keen Stamps PK-754 Critter Faces Medium for the kitty face. I had to kind of ink certain parts of the face stamps to get the parts that I wanted. I used heart shaped brads for my airplane windows and used to white gelly roll pens for the stitching. The Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls was used to emboss the background paper.

Now for my second project we got to choose any cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings but again since I don't own the cartridge I chose a similar cut. I used the Cricut Search Engine and found that there are cherries on Hello Kitty Greetings so I found some cherries on several cartridges and chose the cherries from Country Life. For my second project I made a card.
This is a 4.25x5.5 inch card. The cherries were cut from the Country Life cartridge. The patterned paper came from DCWV Sweet Stack. I used a Fiscars punch and added ribbon and button with baker's twine. Used my white gelly roll pen for a bit of accent. The sentiment is from Pink By Designs Country Living stamp set.

Now what's a blog hop without some blog candy! Today I am giving away a $10 gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps! All you have to do is make sure you are a follower and leave a  comment after this post. Our hop will run all weekend long and I will chose the winner for my my blog candy on Tuesday Jan. 11th.

Now remember, you must leave a comment on everyone's blog to have a chance to win the Grand Prize Giveaway which is the Love Always stamp set sponsored by Pink By Design. The grand prize will be on Sandra's blog! You will have all weeked to complete the hop and we will draw the winner sometime on Monday or Tuesday.

Thank You so much for taking the time to hop with us for the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog Hop! We can't wait to see how you "Flaunt" your Hello Kitty this week at Flaunt It Fridays. Blessed Layout

Good Morning!
Today’s Challenge Me Monday #37 over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is to create something for which you are Thankful. I am so pleased to show you my project today. Many of you may have noticed that I am mostly a card maker but when I was told that I needed to make something for which I was thankful I knew right away I would need to feature my family. I feel truly blessed to have them all in my life and I love them dearly. So, I challenged myself and decided to do a layout of my family.

Here ar few close ups:
I have already framed this and will be hanging it in my craft room. I just love it!

Here are the details:
  • Cricut Cartridges ~ Plantin Schoolbook, scallops ~ Create A Critter , pumpkins ~ Simply Charmed, scarecrow ~ Just Because Cards, corn ~ Country Life, banner
  • Patterned Paper ~ K&Company, Pumpkin Pie paper pack
  • Solid Cardstock ~ Mostly Bazzil
  • Peachy Keen Stamps ~ PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment
  • Crinkle Ribbon ~ Acorn (you can purchase it from Kimberly at My Craft Spot)
  • Color Box Chalk Ink ~ Chestnut Roan
  • White Gelly Roll Pen
  • Martha Stewart Gems (I’ve had these for well over a year and finally used them!)
  • Hemp
  • Glue dots and foam tape
  • Alpha stamps (I've had these for years and do not remember their manufacturer)

I think that’s it! I hope you are inspired to make something for which you are thankful and join us in this week’s Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut.

Have a blessed week, Everyone!
 ~Saundra :)
