So Sweet ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Project

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I have a sweet project for you today featuring doodlebug designs inc. sweet cakes cardstock.

This 12x12 paper pack features 12 sheets of double sided cardstock including 3 glitter sheets and 1 labels sheet.

I used 4 patterns and one label from this pack. I stamped my sentiment on the scalloped label and popped it with foam tape. I, then, added some Pink Sorbet Twinery Twine and topped it with this cute brad from my stash.

The card came together fairly quickly as I used this card sketch for inspiration.

The following supplies can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice:

Additional items used:

Good Luck To You! ~ Peachy Keen Spotlight

Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is my day to share a project on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

Now that Valentine's Day has passed I thought it fitting to share a wee bit of green!

For over a week I've had this cute little leprechaun all colored just waiting for the perfect background. When I received my Peachy Picks I knew I had the perfect papers but I was still a little stuck. When that happens I start looking for card sketches. There are so many sites on the internet that offer inspiration but the sketch I used for this card is from Mojo Monday.

This little leprechaun is from PK-297 Kiss Me Leprechaun. I colored him with Prisma Colored Pencils and blender. His face was colored with Copic markers. I added a bit of gold to his buckles with Gold Stickles and popped him up with foam tape.

I cut a few shapes from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge which I used to showcase my leprechaun and sentiment.  The sentiment is from PKSC-02 Peachy Keen Stamps Club. I love the paper and embellishments on this card! They are all from the February Peachy Picks.

I decided to heat emboss and glitter the background with PK-299 Lucky Day Shamrock background stamp. When I heat emboss I always prepare the cardstock so that I get a clean embossed image.

You can purchase embossing tools but I chose to make my own with a baby sock, baby powder, and cornstarch. Just mix equal parts of both and put it in some type of cotton sock or pouch. Pounce on your cardstock before stamping. This will keep random flecks of embossing powder from sticking to the cardstock where there is no ink. The powder seems to disappear once I have used my heat gun but if it doesn't you can easily brush it way.

Thanks for visiting me today. Be sure to check out the Peachy Keen Blog for more Peachy inspiration.

I'll see you tomorrow with another project!

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

The Irish influence is what inspired me along with the greens and auburn colors.

Shop Pumpkin Spice February Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the monthly blog hop for Shop Pumpkin Spice. This month's theme is all about LOVE. All of the designers have made projects to inspire your romantic side and they are all made with products that you can purchase from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Not only that, today is the reveal of the February Scrapbooking Kit and the February Card Kit.

If you arrived here from Diana's blog: DL.ART then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog then you will want to start at the Pumpkin Spice Blog so as not to miss a single thing.

For my project I decided to decorate a $1 frame I picked up from Michaels.

To start with I painted the wooden frame with some acrylic paint. After it dried I adhered a piece of black cardstock to the frame using mod podge and let  that dry. After that was finished and dried I used my trusty ATG gun and ATG tape to adhere my patterned paper.

I decided to add this pretty crinkle ribbon but decided that I wanted it a different color so I used some ditress ink to ink it all up. I gathered the ribbon and topped it off with some baker's twine and buttons.

I love the way my frame came out and hope to find the perfect picture to diplay in it soon.

Here are the list of supplies I used: (these can be purchased at Shop Pumpkin Spice)

Buttons from the January Kit ( no longer available )

other items:

$1 frame
Acrylic Paint
Martha Stewart Lace Punch
Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Fired Brick
Mod Podge

Don't forget to check out the new February kits from Shop Pumpkin Spice. These are limited in number so you will want to get yours right away! Then link up your love project over at the Pumpkin Spice Blog for a chance to win the February Card Kit!

Your next stop on the hop is Ann's blog: Raindrop Echo Designs. I know she has something fabulous to see!

You and Me ~ SPS Design Day

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am the featured designer for the Pumpkin Spice blog.

For today's project I created a layout using My Mind's Eye Lime Twist "Happy Go Lucky" Collection Kit. Using a kit makes putting together a fabulous project so easy.

All of the elements on this layout is in the collection kit but you can also buy just the elements you want from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Here I am showing you a bit of the dimension that I created on the layout. The sticker elements made it easy to add a little sentiment to this journaling tag.

For my banner I braided 3 strands of MME baker's twine. I then added the You and Me stickers that I adhered to cardstock and then cut. I popped these with pop dots.

I added the transparency to the backside of my frame. I let the top open so that I can add a photo later.

You can find all of this at Shop Pumpkin Spice:

This Saturday is the February Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop. Can't wait to show you what I have created!

For more inspiration visit the Pumpkin Spice Blog. Every day the designers creat something fabulous with products that can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.
