A Note of Thanks ~ SMS July Release

Hi Everyone!! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have another card featuring Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release.

For this card, I used a sentiment from the newly released "Many Thanks" set.

I paired it with this cute little pencil from Smiley Cards Cricut Cartridge which was a download for the Gypsy. I used all the layers and then added a small strip of silver cardstock that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Candy Cane Stripes embossing folder. I added a cute face from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-294 The Cornies 1 1/8.

All my pattererned paper is from Echo Park's Sweet Day 6x6 pad. I used an EK Success punch to make my paper look like a page from a notebook. I added some Baker's Twine from The Twinery. You can purchase this from Scrappy Moms Stamps along with the Action Wobble that was added to my pencil. These are super fun!

For a finishing touch, I added some Ranger Gossy Accents to give some shine and dimension to the eyes.

Just look at all the sentiments that are included in the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Many Thanks" set:

You know that this set will be used over and over again.

Go check out all the wonderful things that Scrappy Moms Stamps has to offer.

Excellent! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

For Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge we are going Retro!

What a fun challenge!

For my card I used a sentiment from the newly released Scrappy Moms Stamps "Blast from the Past!" This particular sentiment reminded my of the 80's and I just had to use it.

I used the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge and did a little paper piecing to get the pieces I wanted to use. I cut her face, arms, and legs out of white then used my Copics to color her skin. Her face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-112 Cherub Faces Assortment.

I placed my girl on a frame that was cut from the Stretch Your Imaginations Cricut cartridge. This is an oldie but a goodie!

Other  items used:

Echo Park Hello Summer
The Twinery Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine
Button from my stash
Fiscars Edge Punch
White Gel Pen
Fruit Punch Stickles
Cotton Candy Stickles

Check out all the sentiments that are included in "Blast from the Past!"

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out what the other designers have created then join us in this Retro challenge!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Reveal #2

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today I have another card made with the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps release, "Blast From the Past!"

This was a super quick and simple card to put together. I used the mustache stamp that comes in this set to create a background. I heat embossed it but I think I will use different cardstock next time. I think this one had too much texture.

I cut a mustache from Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge and embossed it with D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing folder.

I added a few brads and stamped my sentiment also from "Blast from the Past!"

Here is a look at all you get with this set:

Lots of fun sentiments with this one!

Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to get your set and check out the new "Many Thanks" set while you are at it!

Come back tomorrow for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Life's A Beach! ~ with Scrappy Moms Stamps

Hi Crafty Peeps! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's time for a Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week's theme is all about the Beach. I took this theme literally and created a scene for you.

To create this card I used my Gypsy and Cricut Expression. As you can see the front is created with several images that were then welded to a square.

I used Life is A Beach Cricut cartridge for the umbrella, chair and sand pail. The beach ball and waves are from Paper Dolls for Everyday.

Everything is inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I popped the top of the umbrella with some foam tape to give this card dimension.

For the inside of the card I used PK-107 Cloudy Day background stamp. It is very subtle so you will have to look very close.

My sentiment comes from a great summer time set by Scrappy Moms Stamps entitled "Sun Kissed." This set has all your summer time saying and is super fun.

We'd love to see you beach themed projects! Head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps and check out what all the designers have created then link up your beachy project.

Have a great day, friends!

Until next time...

A Peachy Post It ~ PKS Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am providing inspiration on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and  I thought I would share a Peachy Post It Project.

This is such and easy project and it makes a nice little gift.

For this project I used the brand new Peachy Keen Stamps PK-124 Thank you Dolls and the July Peachy Picks Kits.

I used Momento Rich Cocoa Ink and stamped the dolls on Kraft cardstock that comes in the Peachy Picks Kit. I decided to paper piece their clothing. All the pattern paper is included in the Peachy Picks kit, also. For a little shine to their eyes, I added some Ranger Glossy Accents.

The twine that is added to the top of the post note holder is from the February Peachy Picks Kit. It works perfectly with the color palette of the this months kit.

Here's a picture of the inside.

Here are the basic measurements to make your own post note holder:

For the base cut your cardstock to 3 1/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches.
On the long side score at 3 1/2 inches and 4 inched

For my layers I cut them at 3 inches by 3 1/4 inches and my patterned paper at 1/8 inch smaller than the solid.

To attach the post it, I just used my ATG on the back.

Use your favorite Peachies to decorate!

If you haven't checked out Peachy Keen Stamps newest release then head on over the the STORE. You are going to LOVE them.

Thanks for joining me today.

Big Peachy Hugs!!
