My Halloween Mummy ~ Peachy Keen Featured Designer

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is my day to share a project on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. I love playing with my Peachy Keen Stamps and this was no exception.

With Halloween just around the corner I wanted to share a cute little flat backed treat box.

I used the cute little mummy from SY-908 Halloween Holler Mummy Man. He was colored with Copic markers. I added some orange Stickles to his pumpkins on his shirt. The spider web border is a Martha Stewart punch which had been sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I added some ribbon and the spider from my stash.

The sentiment is from PKSC-09 September 2012. I used a shape from Cricut Craft Room Basics.

Lastly I added some Hershey Nuggets that were wrapped in coordinating cardstock. This box fits 3 nicely.

You can find the instructions for creating this box on Split Coast Stampers.

This was a quick and easy box to put together for a few little munchkins that deserve a treat!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Friday has arrived and with comes another Peachy Keen Challenge!

This weeks challenge is entitled "Word Up!"

Here are the details:

Create a card using a Peachy sentiment as your main focus.
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!

Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 10/24 - 11:59 pm EST

With the challenge in mind here is what I created:

I started with papers found in the October Peachy Picks Collection.

My sentiment came from PK-141 Lil' Tweets Thanksgiving. I stamped it on pattern paper that was cut with my Cricut Expression and the Lacy Labels cartridge.

The leaves were created using PKSC-09 September 2012. These started out white. I inked them with various distress inks, crumpled them, unfolded them, inked them a little more, and sprayed them with
 Glimmer Mist.

For the final touch I added some green crinkle ribbon.

You can see what all of the designers have created to inspire you on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.

I cannot wait to see your "Word Up!" creations!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Isn't this the cutest pumpkin box! This box is an SVG from My Scrap Chick called "Fall Pumpkin Box." It was easy to put together and super quick!

I topped the box with crinkle ribbon, a button, and hemp. I cut the tag from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge and stamped it with a sentiment for "Pick of the Patch!"

Happy Fall!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I wanted to share a card I made for a swap over at the Peachy Keen Connection. The theme for this swap was "Fall" and of course we had to use Peachy Keen Stamps on our cards.

You may have a seen a similar card that I made when this scrarecrow stamp was released last month but I loved this card and decided to amp it up a bit.

Th scarecrow is from PKSC-09 September Stamp of the Month. He was colored with Copics and paper-pieced. I cut the pumpkin from Mini Monsters Cruct cartridge an stamped him with a face from that same set. The corn is from Just Because Cards and the fence is from Paper Doll Dress Up.

The grass and leaves are both made with punches. You can find the sentiment on PKSC-09 September Stamps of the Month.

I just wanted to say what great fun I had making this card and I LOVE all the cards I received!

My, oh my! ~ Scrappy Mom Stamps October Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today Scrappy Moms Stamps is relasing 2 new sentiment sets and, Boy, you are in for a treat!

I created another treat box and used a sentiment from
"Pick of the Patch!"

This box is not my idea but I loved it when I saw it. Renee from I came, I saw, I created did a whole series on pies and I just had to try it.

For this piece of pie I used Cricut Tag, Bags, Boxes, and More, Plantin SchoolBook, and Give A Hoot. There was some welding involved so you will need a Gypsy or Cricut Craft Room to recreate this.

Here are few more pics so that you can see this from every angle.

I can see me making more of these in the future. They would be great for Thanksgiving favors!

Here is a look at the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps.

"Pick of the Patch"

"From the Inside Out!"

These stamps are in stock and ready to ship. So head on over the Scrappy Moms Stamps to get yours!

Make sure to check out all the Scrappy Moms Designers' blogs to see even more projects.

Trick or Treat Matchbox ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

For this box I used papers from My Mind's Eye Blackbird Collection. The box was cut from Cricut's Tags, Bags, Boxes, More.

To decorate my box I used this cute little witch from Penny Black's "Mimi Halloween" stamp set. She was colored with Copic markers and embellished with yellow Stickles.

To finish off my box, I added a spider web border and topped it with The Twinery "Mandarin" Baker's Twine, then filled my box with treats.

Happy Harvest ~ PKS October Release and Challenge

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I wanted to share a card I created for Challenge #2 over at the Peachy Keen Connection.

The challenge is to use a Peachy Keen Stamps background stamp or to create your own background using your Peachy Keen Stamps.

I decided that this cute little squirrel from the newly released October Stamp of the month PKSC-10 would look perfectly on PK-133 Oak Leaves and Acorn background. My little squirrel was paper pieced. I added a bit of Ranger Glossy Accents to her eyes for some shine and a bit of chalk to her cheeks. The Acorn is also from PKSC-10.

I had a lot of fun with my background! I started with white cardstock and used distress inks to ink it all up with Aged Mahogany, Spiced Marmalade, and Crushed Olive. Over that I inked my background stamp with embossing ink, stamped it, and then added clear embossing powder. I used my heat gun to set the embossing powder. Once cooled I added Brushed Corduroy distress ink over the whole thing.

I cut the background shape that the squirrel is on from Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge. My patterned paper and embellishments are from the October Peachy Picks Kit.

You have until 12:59 AM EST to link up over at the Peachy Keen Connection. For more information on the challenge click --> HERE
