Boy Crazy ~ SPS Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am providing inspiration for Shop Pumpkin Spice and the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

Both my sons will be having birthdays next week so I needed to make some masculine cards. I don't know about you, but masculine cards are not the easiest things for me to make. No worries, though!

Shop Pumpkin Spice carries many lines of designer papers and you are sure to find something masculine. For my card, I turned to SPS Boy Crazy card kit.

This card is for my younger son. He will be 20 years old so I didn't want the card to look juvenile.

All the papers I have used here, with the exception of the black and white, is found in the kit. The button is also in the kit. Another place this patterned paper can be found is from Echo Park's "A Boy's Life."

I used my Cricut Expression, Gypsy, and the Smiley Cards download to cut out this ipod. I used my Gypsy to hide the face so that I could use a Peachy Keen face. I used PK-680 Retro Paper Doll Face Assortment. I used my Copics to color in the eyes and a little chalk on the cheeks.

I added some Twinery Baker's Twine in  Peapod and Lemondrop  and topped it off with a button that is found in the Boy Crazy kit. The sentiment is from the brand new My Pink Stamper's "Girly Doodles" set.

Head on over to Shop Pumpkin Spice to check out all the wonderful products Denine has to offer. You will not be disappointed.

Check out the Pumpkin Spice Blog for daily inspiration.

Thanks for stopping today.

I will have another masculine card tomorrow.

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Hey, Cupcake! ~ SMS May Release

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I'm back to share another project using the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Scrabble Tile Necklace Kit."

For this necklace I used an image that I googled. I sized it at .6875 x .78125 inches. Then printed and cut it out. Next I glued it to the Scrabble tile that comes in the kit and added an Epoxy sticker on top of that. I super glued the silver-tone bail to the back, added some Twinery Baker's Twine in Blossom for the necklace.

For the topper I used a Peachy Keen Stamps cupcake from PKSC-04 April 2012 and PK-106 "With a Cherry on Top" and colored with Copics. I added a bit of Ranger Glossy Accents to the frosting and sprinkled it with some Martha Stewart coarse glitter.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Sweet Somethings." I love this set!

The packaging idea came from one of the Scrappy Moms Stamps creators, Mel, from Scrappy Mel.

This is what is included in the kit:

Just Grillin' with Peachy Keen Stamps!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am the featured designer on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

With Memorial Day just a week away, I thought it would be fun to show you how you can use your Peachy Keen Stamps to create a fun invitation.

I created a pocket envelope and a postcard with a pull tab. The May Peachy Pick's collection is the perfect color pallet for this invitation.

Some of the elements on my invitation were computer generated but several Peachy Keen Stamps used to embellish. Our little chef comes from PK-114 Hot Diggity Dog. I colored him with my Copics.

For the invitation itself, I used PK-114 Hot Diggity Dog  for the hamburger, PK-116 We go together for "Bon Appetit", PKSC-05 for "Just Grillin'," and PK-117 Picnic Tablecloth Background.

I hope I've given you a fun way to create an invitation.

Visit the Peachy Keen Blog everyday for lots of Peachy inspiration!

Happy Crafting, Peachies!!

Fishing with Daddy Layout ~ SMS May Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a layout with you that I created using some of the sentiments from Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release, "Picture Perfect."

I found these pictures of my youngest daughter and my husband a while back and knew I had to scrap them. They were taken 10 years ago when my daughter was only 6 years old. Has time ever flown!

I stamped one of the sentiments from Scrappy Moms Stamps, "Picture Perfect" set on the cloud. I can easily see this sentiment being used on a card.

The Remember this- and the line is also from this set.

I love the picture of my husband and daughter fishing together. It was taken from a distance so it was quite small. I decided to use a circle punch to crop it and then added a scalloped circle behind it.

That goofy face on my moose is from Peachy Keen Stamps The Cornies Face Assortment. I used 2 different stamps from the set to get the look I was after.

Here are some of the details:

Cricut cartridges used: Pooh Font (title), Campin' Critters ( moose and outside scene), Plantin Schoolbook (oval sky), Birthday Bash (scalloped circle)
Scrappy Moms Stamps "Picture Perfect" (sentiments)
Peachy Keen Stamps  PK-293 "The Cornies Face Assortment"

Patterened Papers:
My Mind's Eye "Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl" (orange background)
My Mind's Eye "Good Day Sunshine" (clouds and water)
Echo Park "A Walk in the Park" (all the greens)

Here is a look at the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Picture Perfect."

These and so much more are available for purchase on the Scrappy Moms Blog.

Come back tomorrow for some Peachy Keen Inspiration.

Until then,
Happy Crafting!!

Altered Picture Frame ~ NSD with Shop Pumpkin Spice

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Shop Pumpkin Spice is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with 3 challenges and a blog hop. This is challenge #3 of three.

To see my first challenge click ---> HERE.
For my second challenge click ---> HERE.

The details for all the challenges will be posted on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

Challenge #3 is to make something other than a card or scrapbook page.

I altered and frame and even have a tutorial for you!

I just love it!

Here is what you need to get started:

You will need an 8x10 inch frame and your favorite designer paper. I am using Echo Park's Country Drive.  By using paper from one paper line it makes coordinating my patterns easy.

Step 1: Cut paper to 8x10 inches and adhere to 8x10 chipboard or frame backing. I chose to use chipboard.

Step 2: Cut coordinating cardstock to 10x9 1/2 inches. You will lay thins on your scoreboard with the 9 1/2 inches across the top. Score at 2 1/2, 4, 6 1/2, and 8 inches.

Step 3: Fold cardstock mountain and valley.

Step 4: Add sticky strip to create pockets.

Step 5: Add border strips to top of pockets and create a lattice with some Twinery Twine. I used The Twinery Baker's Twine in Peapod.

After you have completed this step you can adhere you pockets to your background.

Step 6: Cut coordinating strips of cardstock to dress up your frame. There is no size here because this all depends on the type of frame you are using. I used Mod Podge to adhere my strips.

This is what my frame looked like with the strips glued down. I did miter the corners using a craft knife.

Now it is time to put your backing in the frame. You may need to add your glass behind your backing. Because I used chipboard, I did not need to do this.  Here you can see tha I added some trim. This is the Sunday Picnic Trim from Webster's Pages. It is gorgeous trim!

The last thing I did was embellish my frame.

I used some stickers that came in the Echo Park Country Drive paper pack.

The flowers were cut out using my Cricut Expression and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. The buttons were from my stash. I also embellished a paper clip to add. There is plenty of room for more pictures and tags.

Here's one last look at the frame.

Make sure to head over to the PumpkinSpice Blog to check out everyone's projects and to get all the challenge details. You have until midnight, Sunday, May 6th to submit a project to win a prize. You can do one, two, or all three challenges! It's totally up to you.

Thanks for stopping today and for leaving such sweet comments!

Happy Crafting!!

Our Girls ~ NSD with Shop Pumpkin Spice

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Shop Pumpkin Spice is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with 3 challenges. This is challenge #2 of three. To see my project for the first challenge click ---> HERE. The details for all the challenges will be posted on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

Challenge #2 is to create a layout.

This 12 x 12 layout was created with products found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I used My Mind's Eye Good Day Sunshine 12 x 12 cardstock. It is filled with beautiful designer papers. I love this gorgeous paper pack.

The banner was created with a Fiscars corner punch. I used My Mind's Eye Lime Twist ~ Happy Go Lucky "Together" alphabet stickers to spell out "Adore."  The Twinery Baker's Twine in Caribbean was the perfect match for this layout and banner.

For the title I used Cosmo Cricket Chipboard Letters in "Pink Oak." The doily is from the January Card Kit.  All the edges have been inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye.

The pretty lacy border is created with the Matha Stewart Doily Punch I topped it with Webster Pages "Sunday Picnic" Desiger Trim. It is a perfect match and so beautiful!

I added  a My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose "So Sweet" sticker tag and a My Mind's Eye title card that I trimmed down to fit my layout.

I punch some Matha Stewart butterflies and embellished them with My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy "Tickled Pink" bling and "True Blue" bling.

I hope you liked my layout as much as I do and that you will join us in the challenge.

The winner of this challenge will win a $20 gift certificate to the Shop Pumpkin Spice store. Make sure to check out the Pumpkin Spice Blog for the challenge details and to see all the wonderful inspiration the design team has for you!

Come back later for challenge #3!

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Vintage Echo Park ~ NSD with Shop Pumpkin Spice

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Shop Pumpkin Spice is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with a blog hop and 3 challenges with the chance to win a great prize for each!

This is challenge #1 of three, Create a card.

I've had this stamp in my drawer for quite some time and thought that this Echo Park would be the perfect compliment to it. All my papers are from Echo Park "For the Record" collection.
The card base is Bazzill Kraft 8 1/2x 11. I cut this 4 1/2 by 11 and score at 5 1/2 inches.

The image is a stamp by Stampendous. Before I heat embossed the image with aged gold enamel, I distressed my cardstock by scrunching it up. I also added Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo.
I added Prima Flowers which I purchased from Shop Pumpkin Spice some time ago. They were the perfect touch to this vinatge card.

The oval and scallop were both cut with my Cricut Expression and A Child's Year cartridge.

Don't forget to visit my design team sisters' blogs. They have some fabulous creations to share with you, too. You can see them all on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

Get ready for a fun filled day of crafty goodness over on the Pumpkin Spice Blog. There going to be three $20 gift certificates up for grabs. All you have to do for a chance to win is submit a project. Do all three challenges for even more chances. You will have until midnight, Sunday, May 6th to submit your projects. I cannot wait to see what you create!
