Sweet Sixteen ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

This is my second post today. You can check out my Peachy Keen Stamps post by clicking --> HERE
Or you can just scroll down. :)

Today is a special posting day for the Pumpkin Spice Blog. Several of the designers have created some extra inspiration for you.

I created a card using products that can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I have to say that this card came out just the way I imagined it. It was really simple to put together, too.

This fun paper is from Fancy Pants Designs Be You 6x6 paper pad. It has fun colors and patterns that I thought would be perfect for a Sweet 16 card.

I added some twine and a Prima flower. The brad is from My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink Brads.

The number 16 was cut using my Cricut Expression and the Kate's ABC's cartridge. I welded the shadow using my Gypsy and then layered the patterned paper on top.

My sentiment inside and out are both from My Pink Stamps Girlie Doodles.

I've added links to all the product I used so that you can easily find them on Shop Pumpkin Spice. Although once you are there you may be tempted to look around even more. It is chock full of great designer papers, embellishments, stamps, and more!

Check out the Pumpkin Spice Blog to see all the wonderful inspiration that is being shared.

Until next time...

Thank You Indie Chic! ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There and Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is my day to provide inspiration on the Pumpkin Spice Blog and I am thrilled to share my card with you!

I'm sure many of you have seen the My Mind's Eye "Indie Chic" papers. I just received mine a few days ago and I am loving the rich, beautiful prints in this 6x6 pad. What's wonderful about My Mind's Eye is that they create wonderful embellishments to go with their paper lines. I used several on this card.

The flowers on here are handmade by me. I had fun picking out the papers to make them but, Boy, were my fingers sore afterward! It was worth it, though. I love the way they turned out.

Remember, Shop Pumpkin Spice carries the newest lines of designer paper and most importantly it is always 30% off retail or more. We all love that, don't we?

Here are the items I used and can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice:

My Mind's Eye Indie Chic ~ Ginger "Adventure" Decorative Brads
My Mind's Eye Indie Chic ~ Ginger "Direction" Decorative Buttons
Other items used:

Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge ~ flourish
Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge ~ scallops for flower
Seam Binding from my stash

Graduation Card

Hi Crafty Peeps! I hope you all are having a great week!

I made a graduation card for a young man of a family that we have been friends with for several years. My children have had such a wonderful time with their children. It's hard to believe that they are growing up so fast!

Since this card is for a young man I wanted to keep away from anything cutsie.

I created this card after seeing one similar on my friend, Robin's blog, Robin's Creative Cottage.  Here is the direct link to her card: Robin's Card

This is a picture of the card opened.

Here I just wanted to show you another view.

My card base was created with black cardstock from DCWV. All my designer paper is from Echo Park's This & That "Charming". I inked all my edges with Ranger Distress Ink in Teas Dye.

All of the sentiments on this card are from Scrappy Moms Stamps. "Hats off to You" is from "School Days." I used a Fiscars circle punch and scallop punch to frame this sentiment.

"Congratulations" came from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Mini Messeges." For "Class of 2012" I did a little masking using a couple of stamps from "School Days." The 2012 was stamped from "Hooray for Birthdays." You can find all of these stamps --> HERE

I created a pocket for a gift card and edged it with a Fiscars border punch.

I created a tassel with some embroidery floss and attached it with a brad.

This was fun to make and really did take that long. I think it is perfect for any grad.

Thanks for stopping today! Come back tomorrow for some sneak peeks of Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release!

Until then...
Happy Crafting!

Tutu Awesome!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I wanted to share a quick project I had put together for the challenge on the Peachy Keen Connection site. This was for Challenge #2 "Anything with Wings."

For this tag I used the new Peachy Keen Stamps June Stamp of the Month, PKSC-06 June 2012, for the fairy and sentiment. The background was stamped with PK-119 Lattice background, which is one of the add on stamps released this month.

I colored my little fairy with Copics, added a little Diamond Stickles to her wings, and did a little doodling with my white gel pen. The background was stamped with embossing ink and sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set it.  I love the way it came out on my kraft cardstock!

I finished the tag off with some bling and ribbon from my stash.

Keep an eye out. Every month Peachy Keen Stamps releases a new Stamp of the Month. They just keep getting better and better!

If you love Peachy Keen Stamps and are looking for lots of Peachy inspiration then check out the Peachy Keen Connection. There is a gallary full of Peachy projects.

Thanks for stopping today.

Just For Dad ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps! The theme this week is "Father's Day."

I took the opportunity to create a card for my father-in-law. He has always been a handy guy so I knew this would be perfect for him.

I used the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Alphabet Soup" along with the "Alphabet Die" and wood grain stamp. I masked off the numbers on the stamps because I wanted my pieces to look like wood instead of Scrabble pieces.

The tool belt and tools come from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. I embossed my background with the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate embossing folder. I added some brads that I've had in my stash forever.

Check out Scrappy Moms Stamps to see what the other wonderfully talented girls have created for your inspiration. Join us! We would love to see what you create for Father's Day!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!

The little bird and birdbath are both part of the Stamp of the Month. I used my Copic markers to color the images and added some doodling with a gel pen.

I used my Cricut Expression and A Child's Year cartridge to cut the oval and scallop tag. The patterned paper is from  DCWV Nana's Kitchen. With the addition of bling, ribbon, and button the card was finished.

Sending Love ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

The designers for Shop Pumpkin Spice is having a Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is to create a sympathy card. We know it's a difficult task and we wanted to help you all a little.

You should have gotten here from Lezlye's blog: Ink and Paper Creations. If you just happened upon my blog then you will want to start from the beginning at the Pumpkin Spice Blog so as to not miss a thing.

I have to say that I have not had to make many sympathy cards so it took me some time to figure out what I wanted to do.

When I think of sympathy cards I think of soft soothing colors. That's why I turned to My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose "Hazel" 6x6 paper pad. This pad is filled with beautiful prints in soft colors. All the printed card stock is from this pad.

I used a sentiment from the new My Pink Stamper Handle with Care set. I added some ribbon from my stash and topped it off with a brad from My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink decorative brads.

Other items used:
Cricut Expression
A Child's Year Cartridge ~ scalloped oval tag
Cindy Loo ~ Flower
Ranger Distress Ink ~ Tea Dye

Thank you for stopping! Now it's time to head on over to Lenae's blog: Sugargem Crafts.

BEE Happy ~ PKS Challenge Just Cards

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's hard to believe I haven't posted anything for a whole week. BUT, I have been busy and the next few days I have some fun things to show you.

Well, It Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.

THE CHALLENGE:

Create a card using the theme provided.

We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!

Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 6/6 - 11:59 pm EST

Here is what I created for you!

This card was super fun to create!

I don't know if you can see it here but there is some Glimmer Mist present!

Here is the process I went through. I took MSS- BK-22 Honeycomb background stamp and heat embossed white card stock with clear embossing powder. I,  then, inked the background with Ranger Distress Ink in Wild Honey. This was then sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iredescent Gold. I, also, misted my cloud background which was stamped with PK-107 Cloudy Day.

The scalloped shape was cut using my Cricut Expression and A Child's Year cartridge. The bees and hive are from Create A Critter. All my cuts and edges were inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I added a little Yellow Stickles to the hear ton the hive and embellished my cuts with a white gel pen.

The faces on the bees come from PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment. These just make me smile! I used Ranger Glossy Accents for their eyes. It gives a little dimension and shine.

For my sentiment I used the letter stickers that came in the May 2012 Peachy Picks kit.

I finished the card with some ribbon from my stash and that was it!

You have a week to create something and link it up over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.

Head on over to see what my fabulous fellow designers have created to inspire you!

I'll see you tomorrow with a sneak peek of the June Stamps of the Month. I'm telling you now, I think these are my favorite to date! Kathy does an amazing job!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!
