Tis' the Season... ~ Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas in July

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

We have been celebrating Christmas In July at Peachy Keen Stamps! There is a new sale that begins every Tuesday evening through the following Tuesday all month long!

Today I am sharing a project that I created with PKSC-11 November 2012.

I went with a more CAS look for my card and I love it! I let my cute little elf be the center of attention here. Isn't he the cutest!! I colored him with my Copics and added some Diamond Stickles to his hat.

I embossed my background with Sizzix Lines and Dots embossing folder and added some Washi Tape. To finish off my card, I added some Twinery Baker's Twine in Pea Pod and topped it with a brad.

My sentiment is from PK-859 Christmas Greeting Words. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Here is a closer look of this cute little elf:

Sweet Treat Bag with Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas in July!

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

We are celebrating Christmas in July at Peachy Keen Stamps all month long with great sales every Tuesday evening through the following Tuesday.

Today I am sharing a project I made with one of the add on sets that coordinate with the July Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month.

I made a treat box / bag . I purchased this svg file from Lori Whitlock and cut from some older K&Company paper I had in my stash.  I cut a circle and scallop from the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut download that was on my Gypsy. I ran the circle through my Cuttlebug with the snowflakes embossing folder.

My cute little snowman cupcake is from PK-1328 Yummies! set. I colored him with my Copic markers and added some Diamond Stickles to his hat/frosting.
To finish of my treat container, I added some felt snowflakes and gems I had in my stash.

Cute Summer Bear ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing inspiration on the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog using products from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I decided to play along with the current challenge on the Pumpkin Spice Blog. The theme this week is summer.

I am so excited because this is my first official project that I have made with the help of my Silhouette Cameo!

I created the base of my card using shapes in my Silhouette Cameo and the Designer Edition Software to cut the base from Bazzill Kraft cardstock.

The bear from a free file that I got from Miss Kate Cuttables. It's called Bear in Pool.

I used scraps of patterned paper from various paper pads but my main pieces were from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine paper pad and My Mind's Eye On the Bright Side Two paper pad.

I inked all of my pieces with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye and popped some of my layers with foam tape for some dimension.

I stamped the bears face with a Peachy Keen face from PK-170 Teddy Bear Assortment. I added some Glossy Accents to his eyes and the water for some shine and dimension.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Beach Bums" set.

To finish my card off I did some faux stitching and added some Lemon Drop Baker's Twine and button.

You still have time to join in the Summer challenge! Click HERE for details.

Make sure you check out Shop Pumpkin Spice and the Shop Pumpkin Spice Ebay store for great deals!

Chevron Birthday ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps July Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card that I created with the new Scrappy Moms Stamps July Release!

I created this card for my nephew who was turning 13. I wanted to make sure it was not cutsie and that it was more masculine in nature. I started with a Kraft base and cut another layer 1/4" smaller. This layer was run through the Cuttlebug with the Diamond Plate embossing folder.

I used patterned paper from Echo Park's A Boy's Life. The number 13 was cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge. I cut it out 3 times in Kraft and once in the patterned paper so it would have a chipboard look to it. It was then layered onto a circle and gear shape that I cut from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge. Everything was inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

I used some of my scraps and the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Chevron and Rick Rack Die for my chevron on the bottom of the card. I LOVE this die!!

To finish off the front, I added 2 silver brads.

I also decorated the inside of the card:

I used more of the chevron on the inside and added a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Hooray for Birthdays" set.

Here is a look at the Scrappy Moms Stamps products I used:

The Chevron and Rick Rack die is new along with the set below!

You can find all of these products at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

I will back with more from the new release so stay tuned!

Until next time...

Happy Christmas Wishes with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card I created for the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

As you may know Peachy Keen Stamps is celebrating Christmas in July! So, I thought it would be fun to create a card using some older Peachy Keen Stamps.

This card was created with PK-327 Winter Peekers & Phrases. I stamped this cute gingerbread boy on some Kraft cardstock and paper pieced his scarf. I used a white gel pen to color in the icing and topped it with some glossy accents.

I thought he would look perfect peeking over PK- 188 Brick Wall that was stamped on some red cardstock. I added some snow to the top and sprinkled it with some glitter before it dried.

The wreath was created with a Martha Stewart Branch Punch. I added a few sequins for decoration.

The background paper was stamped and heat embossed with a snowflake from PK-148 Snow Gifts. to finish the card, I added a sentiment from PK-859 Christmas Greetings Words. I love this set! You can mix and match the phrases to create numerous greetings. A must have, in my opinion!

Before I go I just want to remind you about the month long sale that is going on at Peachy Keen Stamps!

It's All About the Cookies! ~ Peachy Keen Stamps July Peek

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you haven't heard yet it is Christmas in July at Peachy Keen Stamps!

This month's release is all things Christmas.

For my peek I used one of the add on sets that coordinate with the July Stamp of the Month.

I decided to cover and decorate a notebook. I thought this would be perfect to use for Christmas lists or cookie recipes.

I covered the cover of the note pad with patterned paper and then added my decorations. I choose these cute PK-1326 Gingerbread Two Part Cookie Stamps . I stamped the cookie on Kraft cardstock them stamped the icing with embossing ink and added white embossing powder.

I colored in the hearts with Copic marker and then covered them with Glossy Accents as well as the eyes.

The holly and sentiment come from PKSC-19 July 2013 Stamp of the Month. I stamped the sentiment on a shape that I cut from Lacy Labels Cricut cartridge.

To finish off the note pad I tied the binding with red and green ribbon.

Here is a closer look at the gingerbread.

There plenty of sneak peeks to feast your eyes on over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog tonight as wells the next 2 nights.

It all leads up to our Release Party on The Peachy Keen Connection on July 5th at 6 p.m. CDT.  Join our event page on Facebook and let us know you'll be coming to the party!!  We'll be chatting with the design team, playing games, sharing challenges, and of course we'll be giving away some prizes, too!

After the party you will be able to purchase the new stamps from the Peachy Keen Stamps store.

Hooray for the Red, White, & Blue! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today is the start of another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

The challenge:

Red, White, and Blue

Here is what I created:

I just love this silhouette from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge! I had never used it so I thought this was the perfect time.

For my card I started with a scalloped square base that I cut from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge. I ran the from through my Cuttlebug and embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder. I then layered it with a blue mat and some patterned paper from K&Company.

It's a bit on the subtle side but I embossed the patterned paper with a Sizzix  embossing folder called "Stars and Swirls." I popped my image with pop dots and added some Air Mail Baker's Twine and a button from my stash.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Yankee Doodle Dandy!"

This is such a great set for all your patriotic projects!

Now it's your turn! We want to see your Red, White, and Blue projects. You just may win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!

Hurry on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps and check out what the rest of the designers have created!

It's a busy week this week so come back later for another project!

Until next time...
