I Love You More ~ CDD Linky Party

Today is the Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!! Welcome to our mid post for this weeks "Red, Pink, & White" challenge.

 Here is the card I made with that challenge in mind.

For my card, I decided to get a little inky. I started with a piece of white Bazzil cardstock. I cut a few hearts out of Post-it paper using 2 sizes of heart dies. These sticky hearts were placed randomly on the paper. Then the fun began. I used Distress Ink in Picked Raspberries and Fired Brick and blended it onto the cardstock. Once I was pleased with my inking I removed the heart templates.

My sentiment is from the newly released Sending Love stamps. I heat embossed my sentiment onto black cardstock and cut out my banner. Foam tape was added to pop up the sentiment but before adhering it to my card, I made a little thread nest with some red thread from my sewing basket.

The card was finished off with some red sequins that I had in my stash.
