Card Recreation ~ Cindy Loo

Good Morning! I am so enjoying my time off from school. It has been so nice to just have the time to play in my craft room. Last week was very crazy but this week my kids are at summer camp so it is very quiet around here.

I wanted to share a card I recreated. I first saw this card over on Jeannie's blog. I just thought it was adorable. Here is the direct link to her card: http://aplaceformycards.blogspot.com/ Isn't it cute! Well, when I saw her card I just knew that I wanted to get the Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge. Sure enough CricutMachine.com was having a sale and I snatched this cartridge right away.

Here is what I used to make the card:
Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge ~ flower from p. 51 cut at 4 inches with the layers and squirrel from p. 62 cut at 1 inch with all it's layers

Doodle Charms Cricut cartridge ~ lady bug p.92 cut at approximately 3/4 inch and all its layers.

Paper is from DCWV Baby Boy stack and Papertrey Ink
Color Box pigment ink in brown.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to have more projects to show later.

I came up with this birthday card for my niece after viewing Sophie's card for her daddy on Cardz TV. This is Mary's blog and she makes some of the best cards. Thank you, Mary, for sharing all your card creations. Now on to this card.

This is a pedistal card. It measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 when folded.

This is a side view of the card. It is a free standing card and I thought my little niece would want to display it for a while.

Cuttlebug:
Embossing folders~ Spots and Dots and Swiss Dots

Stickles for the nose and Cats Eye brown ink

The Happy Birthday and inside sentiment is computer generated using Comic Sans.

Classroom Door Winter Decor

I am loving my Snow Friends cartridge! I needed new decorations for my classroom door and I came up with this. This a picture of my door.

This is a close up view of the words that I welded together in Design Studio using the Opposites Attract cartridge and Accent Essentials cartridge. I used the shadow on the letters and black out on the snowflake and welded those together first and cut them in light blue and I welded the letters in regular cut in white. I cut these at 3 inches. I added glitter to the snowflake and then I laminated everything so I can use them again in the future.

The snowmen are all cut using the Snowfriends cartridge at 7 inches. I used solid colored cardstock of various colors.
