Just Hatched ~ PKS Challenge

Hi there welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

There is a new Peachy Keen Stamps challenge today.

THE CHALLENGE
Create a project using Peachy Keen Stamps. Anything goes!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 4/24 - 11:59 pm EST

I decided to create birth announcements using some super cute Peachy Keen Stamps!

I made both a girl and boy version. To create theses cards I used the egg from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and the babies from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge.

Here is a close up of the boy:

And here is a close up of the girl:

The babies were cut out of Copic Express It paper then colored them with Copic markers and with Spectrum Noir markers.

I stamped their faces with PK-1201 The Moodies 1 1/8th. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the eyes for some shine.

I used patterned paper from doodlebug designs Sugar and Spice 6x6 pad and Snips and Snails 6x6 pad.

My sentiments are from the new mid-month release from Peachy Keen Stamps. Not only does this release work perfectly with the April Stamp of the Month, but it can be used with so many other Peachy Keen Stamps.  I used PK- 195 Honey Set. These are on sale today, along with several other sets. Check them out at the Peachy Keen Store

Once you have grabbed your stamps, head on over to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog to check out the challenge guidelines. Create something fabulous with your Peachy Keen Stamps and link it up! We can't wait to see what you create!

I hope you enjoyed my cards!

Until next time...

Grace

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

It's been a bit quiet on my blog this week but that is only because I have been busy creating for some upcoming design team projects.

Today's project was created as a gift for a special lady. I was asked to create a layout with a note and picture for a scrapbook that is being created as a birthday gift for her.

Now, I don't do a lot of scrapbooking because it takes me so long to feel like I am happy with the layout. I kept this one simple and tried to go with a quiet beauty.

I used the following items to create this layout:

Cricut Expression and Gyspy
Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge ~ "grace" welded with my Gyspy
Stretch You Imaginations Cricut Cartridge ~ tag at the bottom
Market Street Stamps ~ MSS-BK-10 Vintage Notepad
Martha Stewart Punch
DCWV Rustic Stack
Flat Backed Pearls
Vintage Photo Distress Ink

My flowers were just cut from the designer paper. I didn't want the layout to be too bulky and these flowers are very pretty with a glossy overlay.

A few things coming up on blog:

Tomorrow, we will be hopping with ShopPumpkin Spice!

I have a cute, cute card that I cannot wait to share with you and since it's the season of giving, I may have a little somethin', somethin' for one lucky follower!

Also, tomorrow marks the beginning of the December sneak Peeks for Peachy Keen Stamps! The new stamps are fabulous as always! I've been working on several projects that I will be sharing over the next few days.

Well, that's it for me today. Thanks you so much for all your sweet, sweet comments. I read every one and it means a lot to me that you take the time to comment.

Until next time...
Happy crafting!

Sent From Above ~ FCCB Challenge Me Monday

Good Morning, My crafty friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's Monday so that means a challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's Challenge Me Monday is Blue Skies, use a cloud and the color blue somewhere on your project and, as always, your project must included a Cricut cut.

I created a card using the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. This is such a cute cartridge!

For some reason I usually choose the girl cuts from a lot of my cartridges so I thought I would choose a baby boy this time.

Here are the details:
B is For Boy Cricut Lite ~ card base and layer
Baby Steps ~ sleeping baby on the moon
My Mind's Eye ~ Twinkle, Twinkle Little Girl
DCWV ~ Baby Boy Stack
Kraft Cardstock
40:31 Creations stamps ~ New Baby
Baker's Twine
Button
White Gelly Roll Pen
The face was hand drawn

I used the sleeping baby cut on a very recent project that I posted over the weekend and I really don't want you to miss it so either scroll down or click HERE.

Stop on over at FCCB and see all the wonderful projects that my fellow designers put together for you. You don't want to miss what our guest designer, Faith Abigail from Faith Abigail's Designs, has created to inspire. It's a fun challenge with great prizes so play along with us this week!

Happy Crafting!

Sweet Dreams Layout

Good Morning and Happy Saturday.

Today I am so excited to share a layout I created. I used a sketch from Becky Fleck's Pagemaps. Not only am I using a sketch but several of the FCCB designers are also and we are all being featured on Scrappin' Saturday over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Make sure you pop over to see what the other girls have been up to.

Here is the sketch that I used:

Here is my layout:

Here are a few more for a closer look:
For the face on my baby I used 2 different sets of Peachy Keen Stamps. For the eyes and nose I used PK-641 Princess Faces 1 1/8 for the eyes. I actually turned the eyelashes upside down so it looks like the eyes are closed. I also used PK-532 Simple Sallies 1 1/8 for the smile. The hais is hand drawn.

The stamped sentiments come from Pink by Design stamps Baby Love.

The Peachy Keen face on the moon is from PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment.

Other details:
Cricut Cartridges ~ Twinkle Toes for the background shape, Accent Essentials for my photo mat, Baby Steps for the baby, stars, small clouds, and title, Create A Critter for the moon, Pooh and Friends for the larger clouds. I used my Gypsy to weld the letters of my title together.
Cardstock ~ Bazzil, Kraft, My Mind's Eye Twinkle, Twinkle Little Girl, and DCWV Baby Girl stack
Ranger Distress ink ~ Tea Dye
White Gelly Roll Pen
Ribbon, buttons, baker's twine

I totally enjoyed putting this layout together and I hop you enjoyed it, too. Look for more layouts from me in the near future. I think I may have caught the bug!

Have a great Saturday!
Happy Crafting!
