Do you love me? ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back today with another card that I created with the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps release.

I LOVE the new Check This Out! set and had to use it.

To create this card, I started with the postage stamp cut from the B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge. I added an envelop from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge and placed a heart that I cut from the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge inside. I inked all the pieces with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye.

My patterned paper is from Carta Bella's Devoted 6x6 paper pad

I added some baker's twine from My MInd's Eye and a paper rose from Recollections to my envelope.

I stamped my sentiment on my heart and placed that in my envelope.

For the inside, I stamped another sentiment from the Check This Out set and used the little heart to fill in each box and stamped it in the corners.

This is such a fun set!

Here's a look at it:

These stamps and so many more can be found in the Scrappy Moms Stamps Store.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Beary Special ~ PKS January Peek

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

You can find the SMS Winter Blog Hop HERE.

I am back with another peek of the new Peachy Keen Stamps January 2013 Stamps of the Month.

These bears are just the cutest!

I created the base of my card using the Bis for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge and my Gyspy. I then ran the base through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

My patterned paper is from an old Martha Stewart Valentine mat stack. I thought the postage stamp paper was perfect for this card.

I stamped my bear from the January 2013 Stamp of the Month. In fact, all the stamping including the sentiments are in this set. The Stamp of the Month is truly a great value. You get a ton of stamps on an 8.5"x 11" sheet.

I added some trim that was included in the January 2012 Peachy Picks Kit.

Everything was inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I, also, added some Glossy Accents to my little bears eyes and nose for some shine.

You can get even more peeks of this release on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.

Don't forget to join us on the Peachy Keen Connection for the release party. It all starts at 7:00 pm EST on Saturday, January 5th.

Stay tuned for more Peachy goodness!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

This is Gonna Sting... ~ Peachy Keen Stamps Linky Party

This is my second post for the day. To see the Scrappy Moms Stamps January release click ~~ HERE

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

This week over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog, we are having a party, a Linky Party, that is. Instead of the usual challenge, Peachy Keen is switching it up and we want you all to join us!

For my card I used the newly released PK-295 Cupid's Sting. This is the ca-utest image and I love the sentiment that comes with it!

I colored him with my Prisma colored pencils and blended them with mineral spirits. I added Gold Stickles to his halo, Xmas Red Stickle to the arrow, and Diamond Stickles to the wings and cloud.

I used B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge for the "stamp" mat. My patterened paper is from Marta Stewart's Hiolidays mat pad. This is from last year but I still love it!

All my pieces were inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye. The sentiment was taped off so that I could stack it instead of stamped straight across.

For some finishing touches I added Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine from The Twinery, a button, and roses from my stash.

There's plenty more inspiration to be seen at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.
I hope you will join us in the party. You can link any project as long as it has a Peachy Keen Stamp on it. I can't wait to see what you create!

See you tomorrow!

You're Out of This World!

Hello Crafty Friends!
Today’s card was made for my nephew. His birthday was yesterday. I tried to make something that would appeal to an 11 year old boy. I don’t know if I hit the mark or not!

I went with a space theme. I used B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge to cut my rocket ship and little astronaut. Mini Monsters was used to cut my alien monster. I hand cut the ground that they are standing on and used my Cuttlebug and the Spots and Dots embossing folder for some texture. The background paper comes from My Mind's Eye Party Time stack.

Here is a close up of my little guys face. I used the hide contour feature on my Gypsy to hide his face. I then stamped it with Peachy Keen Stamps PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment. I added some silver Stickles to his helmet and then covered his face and helmet with Ranger Glossy Accents. For my monster I decided to give him some googly eyes and only use the nose and mouth of Peachy Keen Stamps PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment. I added some Starry Night Stickles to his spots.

My sentiment is fom Scrappy Moms Stamps "A Haunting We Will Go" set. I thought it was perfect for this card. I decided to use black embssing powder to heat emboss it. I love the way it came out!

Some other miscellanous items I used for this card were gems, Black Diamond Stickles, white and black gel pens, foam tape, and my trusty ATG.

Just a reminder, Scrappy Moms Stamps will be giving away an acrylic block to all customers who order this week and put “FCCB” in the instructions to seller sections of Pay Pal.

Thanks for stopping by today.

It's Friday!! Yay! That means it is time for a Flaunt It Fridays challenge. This week we are flaunting the Robotz cartridge and it is anything goes. If you don't have that particular cartridge then you can use a similar cut from any other cartridge.

I don't own the Robotz cartridge so my cut is coming from B is For Boy Cricut Lite cartridge and I did make this a birthday card.

Isn't he cute!

I am going to submit this card to Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time. The challenge is to use and older cartridge and the colors Green and Yellow.

Sent From Above ~ FCCB Challenge Me Monday

Good Morning, My crafty friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's Monday so that means a challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's Challenge Me Monday is Blue Skies, use a cloud and the color blue somewhere on your project and, as always, your project must included a Cricut cut.

I created a card using the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. This is such a cute cartridge!

For some reason I usually choose the girl cuts from a lot of my cartridges so I thought I would choose a baby boy this time.

Here are the details:
B is For Boy Cricut Lite ~ card base and layer
Baby Steps ~ sleeping baby on the moon
My Mind's Eye ~ Twinkle, Twinkle Little Girl
DCWV ~ Baby Boy Stack
Kraft Cardstock
40:31 Creations stamps ~ New Baby
Baker's Twine
Button
White Gelly Roll Pen
The face was hand drawn

I used the sleeping baby cut on a very recent project that I posted over the weekend and I really don't want you to miss it so either scroll down or click HERE.

Stop on over at FCCB and see all the wonderful projects that my fellow designers put together for you. You don't want to miss what our guest designer, Faith Abigail from Faith Abigail's Designs, has created to inspire. It's a fun challenge with great prizes so play along with us this week!

Lucky Hedghog!

Good Morning, Scrappy Friends!

I am still awaiting word for when I can post my project for Peachy Keen so in the mean time I thought I would share a little card that I made for Scrappy Moms Tuesday Challenge.

Echo Park Paper
Kraft cardstock
Peachy keen Stamps ~ PK-754 Critter Faces Medium Set A
Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Spring Fling

Marth Stewart Baker's Twine

I'm also adding this to The Kraft Journal Challenge #10. Use kraft cardsock with a St Patty's theme or Green! (Thanks Georgiana! :)
