This is my submission for Challenge Me Monday #19 over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's challenge was to make a project with a Christmas in July theme. I decided to make a pedestal card. This card is an A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) sized card.
This is what it looks like when it is ready to fit in an envelope.
This is what the card looks like when it is standing up. I just loved how this card truned out. If you get a chance, stop over at Fantabulous Cricut and participate in the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by,
Saundra :)
Recipe:
craft cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 inches; scored at 5 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 inches.
patterned card stock ~ K&Company Peppermint Twist
Cartridge ~ Plantin Schoolbook ~ hearts cut in Roly Poly feature (sorry, I don't remember the sizes I used) I welded the three hearts using my Gypsy to form the tree, then I welded them onto a rectangle also from this cartridge. I cut a small rectangle for the tree trunk in brown cardstock.
Tim Holtz Distress Ink ~ Aged Mahogany ~ all cuts were inked in this
Pop dots ~ I layered the patterned paper hearts on each other just gluing the tips and pop dotted the bottoms on the top two hearts.
Sentiment was done on my computer
White Jelly Roll pen for stitching
Buttons
Glue dots
