Smile!

Hi Bloggie buddies!
I made this card for another one of my students. He absolutely Loves sharks.

Here are the details:

Card size ~ 4.25 x 5.5 inches, mat size ~ 4 x 5.25 inches
Cricut cartridge ~ Lifes's A Beach ~ shark, Zooballoo~ waves
Cardstock ~ Recollections
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder ~ D'Vine Swirls
Stickles ~ Stardust
Ink ~ Martha Stewart
Senttiment ~ Fiskars
White Gel Pen

Now you may have begun to wonder why I am making cards for my former students. Well, about a week or so ago I posted about going through a bit of a difficult time. The reason I said difficult was because I was in a transition. I have been teaching 3rd and 4th graders at a private school for the last 7 years and I had my last day last Friday. I truly LOVE teaching and will miss my students very much. I am now an official Stay at Home, Homeschooling, Mom again!  Anyway, I wanted to make the kids cards and tried to think of things they liked best. This year I only had 5 students. I already posted 2 cards that I made the girls in my class. I have 2 more cards to go and will post them in the next day or so.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read my ramblings :)

Wow, what a transition, but hopefully for the best. They will love the cards and that is so thoughtful of you to do it. It will mean a lot to them.

the card made me think of a shark after me you telling me "smile"....wild imagination here.

I wanted to follow you so you will see me around when time permits. I am glad you found my project of your liking.
