Do you love me? ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps June Release

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back today with another card that I created with the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps release.

I LOVE the new Check This Out! set and had to use it.

To create this card, I started with the postage stamp cut from the B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge. I added an envelop from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge and placed a heart that I cut from the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge inside. I inked all the pieces with Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye.

My patterned paper is from Carta Bella's Devoted 6x6 paper pad. 

I added some baker's twine from My MInd's Eye and a paper rose from Recollections to my envelope.

I stamped my sentiment on my heart and placed that in my envelope.

For the inside, I stamped another sentiment from the Check This Out set and used the little heart to fill in each box and stamped it in the corners.

Easter Blessings ~ PKS and RRR

This week Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon are teaming up to bring you a week of inspiration!

 

My card today features products from both Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon.

 

 

For my card, I used the newest release from Peachy Keen Stamps, PKSC-15 March 2013. I paper-pieced this adorable bunny and colored her face with Copic markers. The background is from PK-107 Cloudy Day.

 

My card base is from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I sized a circle from Accent Essentials for the background layer. I weaved 1/2" Seam Binding in Lavender through the scallops and added a double bow topped with a button. Really Reasonable Ribbon has a great selection of ribbon with hundreds or colors and patterns to choose from.

 

Here is a close up of the cute little bunny. My papers are from and old Martha Stewart paper pad.

 

The inside the card is stamped with a sentiment from PKSC-15 March 2013.

Cat's Meow

Hello, Everyone! I hope you all are well and having a fabulous day so far. I was out of town last week so I it seems I haven't posted in forever. I was visiting my family if Pennsylvania and had a wonderful time with them.

While my family and I were away we had a friend coming over to take care of our 2 kitties. My husband wanted me to make a card that was specifically from them. So that is what I tried to do. The kitties on my card were made to look somewhat like our kitties.

Since I needed to make this card I decided to throw in a few challenges, too. I'll list those at the end of the post.

Wedding Card

I made this card a few days ago for a couple at our church who just got married this past weekend. It was pretty easy to put together and I think it came out with just the elegant look I was hoping for.

Isn't it lovely! It was really quite simple to make.

This card is an A7 card (5x7)

Here's the recipe:

Cricut Cartridge~ Wild Card~ I used the wedding cake card but didn't cut the whole thing out. Here is

what it looks  like on my Gypsy:

(I don't know why blogger is uploading this on it's side but I can't seem to get it turned.) Anyway, I moved part of the cake off the mat so it wouldn't cut the two sides of the card. I also used the hide contour feature in my Gypsy for the base of the cake and sized it to shadow the top layer. I then cut the cake again without the hide contour feature. I cut the the pieces apart on the this second part and ran it through the Cuttlebug.
